    Yeah but he also gave Reading alot of chances by backing off from Jimmy Kebe, he put us out of the cup against Leyton Orient, and all round this season has looked complaicent, he was barely Championship so I don't think he's Prem

    Valid points Jamie, but when Monk was out of the team, he looked solid as hell with Ash for a while at CB. Tate is a clubman, and I very much doubt he wants to leave. Also, I bet he hasn't even asked to renegotiate his contract... probably ever! IF we do end up going back down, he'll be a handy "old head" to have around, plus, being with us since the League Two days, he deserves to play for Swansea City in the Premiership.

    tbh imo only they would murdered in the prem and thanks for the ppl who agree with me. servants of the club is gr8 but there must be a use by date in their playing career.
