    Surprised no-one else mentioned Smalling, my flatmates are mostly Manure fans, so i've watched a fair few of their games, he has so steady and solid at the back. Without a doubt a future England stalwart and a relative steal (considering I'd never heard of him) for the £6m I heard he cost them! Still only 21 as well!

    Not strictly a new signing more of a breakthrough, for me the player of the season so far is by far (excluding Tiote obviously) Jack Wilshere
