Your player of the season?

So who, now that the season has ended.. would you choose as your player of the season and why?

 

Gordon - he was the only player at times trying to attack

 

I think Gordon, plenty of goals and assists.

But Isak very close, 21 goals in 25 starts or something.

Bruno been good, as has Schar.

 

think Isak has 25 in all competitions.

 

Yea, was going on PL.

 

It’s close. And it’s splitting hairs.

Isak.

Shades Gordon in second and Bruno third.

The reason. Scoring goals is the hardest thing to do and Isak makes it look easy.

 

I must admit i nearly went for Isak, think if they both played the full season it would have been him, but for that reason Gordon gets the nod.

 

Isak and Gordon will get the mentions.

But Bruno is different gravy.

 

Bruno. No question.

 

Gordon has really worked on his game and it shows.
Isak looks brilliant 90% of his games.
Bruno is just a fabulous £100m class player.
Hard to split Gordon and Bruno.

 

Gordon is more consistent in my opinion and works hard even when the rest can't be ****ed.

When the squad are playing poor Isak tends to be just as dreadful

 

Another one for Gordon from me. Kids really changed my views on him since he arrived.

 

Can only be one of three - Gordon, Bruno or Isak... and it's so close for any one of them.

Gonna have to go for Bruno - JUST. Playing all those games without picking up a yellow, and still really putting himself about and bossing games was immense. He's been pretty much ever present, covered more mileage than any other player in the PL and is the reason we transition so well. Chipping in with plenty of G/A in the final stages too.

Oh and he elbowed that ****e from Arenal in the back of the head too.

 

Bruno - 50 games, 7 goals, 10 assists. Mr Consistent - never worse than a 7/10 even when the team was struggling!

As Fadge says - composure when looking at a two game ban was immense.

Passion unrivaled in the squad.

 

Longstaff

 

Wow. I hadn’t realised be had played so many games.

Gordon has more assists and goals. But I think Bruno is our most important player.

 

Longstaff - 6 in 35 @ 458 mins / goal in PL
Bruno - 7 in 37 @ 467 mins / goal in PL

Longstaff - 1 Champions League goal
Bruno - 0 Champions League goal

Longstaff - 1 FA Cup goal
Bruno - 0 FA Cup goal

 

So...

Longstaff to Real Madrid for 100m

 

If that was to happen, he'd turn into prime Zidane and Chaos could tell us all how he knew he was better than we gave him credit for, and that we bullied him and hounded him out, when really, it was clear there was a world class player in there.

 

IF we were.offered £100m for Longstaff then I'd happily give Chaos any bragging rights he wants make up, just take the fookin deal.
