Now for something less dangerous Pieking..............

She could try eating a couple of very dry biscuits eg. cream crackers as soon as she wakes up - apparently that's supposed to work.

Pineapple chunks for breakfast seem to be working at the moment.

Your interest in my penis is quite unnerving.

    And yet not surprising.

My friend is busy at work so that plan's gone. There's also a class reunion happening tomorrow in London, I'm not that fussed by it really as no-one from my circle of friends is going, however, a girl I've had a bit of a crush since 2009 responded to the invite on Facebook as 'attending'. That was before the location changed though. However, just to make this slightly more complicated, I'm pretty sure she changed her relationship status on Facebook a few months back from Single to not having one at all, which usually means they're in a relationship but for whatever reason doesn't want it to be common knowledge. However, it might not..... Then again, she might not even show up.

Anyhow, I'm undecided whether I should go or not.....

You should go Lapras - opportunities present themselves when you least expect them - but not usually if you sit indoors.

If there's nothing doing there then you haven't really lost anything as you're not expecting anything anyway.

Well, perhaps but I think I might have more of a chance with this girl (if she is single, why can't people just be open with their relationship status on Facebook?!) if I don't go..... Yes, that sounds odd, but allow me to explain.

If I don't go, I could potentially message her a bit afterwards and be like "Hey (name!) how was the reunion? Sorry I couldn't make it, was looking forward to seeing you! Was thinking maybe we should meet for a catch up if you like?". Then if I do that, it doesn't matter if she goes or not because I'm not to know either way.

If I go and she doesn't go, I could message her afterwards and but I think it would be a lot weirder messaging her in that situation.

Even if she does go and I decide to go, it would be weird if I devoted the majority of my attention to one particular person among a group. If we were to arrange a catch up, I can focus my attention soley on her and that would be fine. In addition, it would be a lot more personal and intimate (I don't mean that in a sexual way) if it's just the two of us, rather than a big group of people....

Edit: But to be honest, the main reason I'm disinclined is because it's a not a large group and it's mostly just the 'cool' clique from before (plus one or two others, such as this girl). If it was a larger or more inclusive group, I'd be more inclined to go.

If you don't go PL, then if she is still single, some other buggar may make a move on her instead, and you would "kick yourself" for missing the opportunity.

I reckon that's what Marjorie Proops (the Agony Aunt) would say if you wrote to her.........

Do you know her well enough to meet up for coffee? If so why not just ask her out for a coffee?

Or - you could turn up - suss out the situation - and not stay very long......... because you've got somewhere else to go later. If she is there you might get a chance to talk to her, if you don't you can message her to say you had to leave so sorry you didn't get chance to speak to her maybe you could catch up over a coffee - if she's not there you can message her to say sorry you missed her but you had somewhere else you had to be so had to leave early (and assumed she turned up after you left) but maybe you could catch up over coffee.

If she isn't one of the 'cool' clique she might be grateful to have someone like you there.

Or - you might actually meet someone entirely unexpected.

Marge Proops was frightened of having sex with her husband. According to her the reason was, well let's just say that SB3's Pineapple rings idea was a non starter for him too.

What about next weekend then ?................................

I am visiting St Marys Stadium in Hampshire's second best city (after Portsmouth of course), to view the relegation battle between Saints and Reading, having been presented with corporate seats from a company I deal with.

Should be a great match, with hopefully a decent meal before the game. I've been told I must wear smart casual clothing, but will probably wear my beloved Pompey shirt under a jumper - but at least the thought is there <laugh>

One of my colleagues at work (also a Pompey fan) went to the corresponding match at the end of last season, which Reading won on their way to the Championship title.

Should be an interesting game, with such a lot riding on it, even at this stage of the season.

I haven't got any plans yet. Farnborough are playing away at Bromley so maybe I'll go to that game possibly.

I'm hoping to go to the Natural History Museum soon.

I managed to get 5 days off to go on holiday.

I'm going on holiday to Croatia with Amanda. She's taking me off to Hosijek- her family's home city.

We're planning to make it a "beach" holiday- she said it's nice this time of year there, but I must say, I hope she's right or I'm going to freeze <laugh> I've never been to Croatia, so anyone know what I should expect ?? (I've only ever met her parents, who live in Norway. Now it's time to meet the others in her family, so wish me luck!) ;) I'll post one or two pics of us on our holiday- hopefully you'll see a warm sun in the background!

I leave on Friday, and return on Wednesday. I'm leaving from Terminal 5- never been there before, so should be a good experience!

That leaves just meowth to "zap" you, as dev said when he went on holiday, whilst I'm away .. :bandit:
