Out of interest, I am considering (and presently only considering!) selling this and letting a charity benefit. what do you guys reckon this shirt would be worth, its fully signed by the promotion winning squad, I got all the signatures so I know its 100% genuine.

The only way you will now is to market it.

I have had it a few years, I'm not the collecting type and I don't spend time looking at it or anything.

But I dunno, I kind of like it.

It's a niche piece of history Banksy.

You could always ask the club if they'd be interested in buying it for their archives ?

I wonder how much memorabilia actually survives from that era given what happened afterwards with the club almost going under ?

I'd get it professionally framed and put up on a wall so everyone could see it. If you did decide to sell it, you'd probably get a better price that way as well.

Colin Sexstone and Steve Lansdown binned loads of club memorabilia. Club employees saved some and a lot was saved by people from the 3 Lions pub who retrieved many of the pictures you can see in the pub from a skip.

the thing with shirts or kits signed is how many exist as 100% in good condition. A unique would be valuable likely into 4 figures. The problem with charities is which one! I raised jointly with a friend £1900 for AfC in 2016 when I did the anti clockwise leg of Tikk's TRAVELS down the nw coast of Scotland AFC put over 92% of monies to work some charities it is less than 40% most average 60%
should you sell and donate I would be more inclined if you have a local club or ? to do with youngsters and football to direct the money there.. possibly buy what they need like kit to borrow/ balls/ nets etc etc
I have over £5000 worth of corgi collectables all boxed and all mint.. some never out of their boxes ..and a couple of the little dogs they randomly put in limited editions!
best of luck with your decision

Sounds about right even though these were probably important pieces for the clubs archives.
Idiots !

History can easily easily be stored on digital ... but material items if looked after can last 1000's of years
Any picture in any frame is worth something to somebody, if it is of Ray Cashley or JohnGalley might be worth more than a quid!
