1) McGregor. After 3 years of no consistent first choice keeper, it is refreshing to finally have one of our own. 2) Davies 3) Rosenior 4) Koren 5) Shane Long or Jelavic
1) Our best signing so far this season? Too many to choose. Mac, Davies, Hudd, Jake, Figgy. 2) Our best player so far? Too many to choose. Mac, Davies, Hudd, Jake, Figgy. 3) Most under rated player? All of them. 4) Worst player? There isnt one. 5) One player to improve the squad in January? Lukaku would be nice! Not that ****ing Finnboggosson FFS. Bit left field but I saw Asamoah Gyan is looking for a club, doubt we could afford him even short term but.... just saying like.
1) Davies/Sagbo - Huddlestone was a great signing too but Curtis and Saggy were more VFM 2) Davies 3) Figueroa 4) Graham - apart from last 2 games 5) Dunno - anyone wiith the confidence to get the ball in the net by any means whatsover!
Well I didn't answer that question but the thinking is obviously he is there to score goals and he hasn't
Based on the matches I've seen him play, (not many I acknowledge) and watching replays on Tigersplayer (not perfect I know) I think he's often looked disinterested, lacking in skill and not very inclined to exert himself. Which maybe the picture of someone lacking in confidence - lets hope so. I'd be overjoyed if his performance from now on meant I was nominating him as our best player at the end of the season. (Well providing that didnt mean that everyone else's form had gone awol...................)
1) Our best signing so far this season? Davies 2) Our best player so far? Davis 3) Most under rated player? Meyler 4) Worst player? Koren 5) One player to improve the squad in January? Defoe
1) Our best signing so far this season? 2) Our best player so far? 3) Most under rated player? 4) Worst player? 5) One player to improve the squad in January? Imo: 1) =Curtis Davies/Tom Huddlestone (both brilliant signings by SB)...Biggest positive surprise..Yannick Sagbo. 2) Curtis Davies (so consistent). 3) =McGregor/Livermore (Mc has been our best keeper since Norman...brave and agile, Jake does the hard work in MF) 4) =Koren/Graham 5) Shane Long
1) Best signing = Davies 2) Best player = Davies (most consistent all season) 3) Graham most underrated - as apparently many people consider him our worst. 4) 'Worst' = Proschwitz, not that he's had much chance. 5) Cairney would improve the squad if we recall him, as we have limited cover for Livermore/Meyler in a midfield 3.
1. Mcgregor 2. Davies 3. Bruce locally and probably Sagbo in the national press 4. 5. Angelo Henriquez
If you look at Grahams performances they haven't actually been that bad, yes his finishing has been lacking but his all round performance been pretty good. He holds the ball up okay and his l8nk up play is pretty tidy. He's scored just as many goals as Sagbo this season yet he gets 4 times as much stick
1) Our best signing so far this season? 2) Our best player so far? 3) Most under rated player? 4) Worst player? 5) One player to improve the squad in January? 1 - Allan McGregor, we've not had a keeper of our own for a long time, and whilst Davies and Huddlestone will consistently get credit in the press and on these boards he's not let us down once and has won/saved us a fair few points so far 2 - Davies has been immense 3 - Most under rated by the manager is Rosenior....he looks good whenever he plays, by the fans the most under rated is possibly McGregor, not that he's not noted as a good or even key player, but that he's not thought of in the same light as other key players 4 - Koren has been pretty average at best this year, a couple of years too late for him to go back to the prem I think 5 - Livermore on a permanant is crucial, adding to the squad we all want a striker, not sure who i'd personally choose but have faith in Bruce to make the right call.
Davies for numbers 1-3 for sure. When I say underrated I mean by oppo fans and the media, he has simply been magnificent but hardly anyone is mentioning him.
I wouldn't say Davies had even been underrated by the media, ive seen a lot of positive articles on him, but to be fair there hasn't been many about him since the last England games. The only person who truly seems to underrate him is Roy Hodsgon.
I bet if you asked any national journo to name the top 5 English centre backs by form in the EPL none would say Davies and for me he is. Theyd just trot out the usual names of Terry, Ferdinand and Jones and Davies is far better than any of them.
