    I liked the sound of this so much I actually had it for tea last night. There was no lamb option and I had some leek gratin/dauphinoise type thing as well but all the rest were exactly as above.

    I woke up this morning too, thank ****, so it wasn't my actual last meal.

    <ok>

    Starter: Tadpole Tits On Toast (last time I requested this, the restaurant responded that regretably they couldn't supply becaause they had run out of bread) :cool:

    Fish course: Scampi, (wholetail or alternatively langoustine in a tempura batter and with home made tartare sauce)

    Main: Venison (loin with a bitter chocolate and red wine jus, poached pears and jersey royal new potatoes with rosemary)

    Dessert: Crepes Suzette - prepaqred at the table

    <ale> <cheers>

    A classic is a classic <grr> ... please note the type of Scampi is rather a refined form ... not the Whitby Scampi bites (fish flange and fins) you'll no doubt be more used to <laugh>

    Mine would be a naan and some Indian style chicken. Maybe a chicken shashlik. With bhindi bhaji.

    I'd go Indian as well
    Chicken Tikka
    Lamb Dhansak (technically Persian, but on the menu of most Indian Restaurants)
    Mushroom Rice
    Chilli Naan

    Copious amounts of Sam Adams

    I couldn't do that.

    I'd be thinking of poor old Les Dennis.
