Justice is done No further action is to be taken against the pensioner arrested after a burglar was fatally stabbed. Richard Osborn-Brooks, 78, was arrested after Henry Vincent, 37, was fatally stabbed during a failed burglary at his home in Lewisham. In a statement the Metropolitan Police said: "The 78-year-old man was told on Friday, 6 April, that following consultation between the Met and Crown Prosecution Service, no action will be taken. "Officers have also spoken with the family of Henry Vincent who died following the stabbing on Wednesday, 4 April. They have been informed of the decision and the reasons for it have been explained to them." Detective Chief Inspector Simon Harding, of the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "This is a tragic case for all of those involved. As expected with any incident where someone has lost their life, my officers carried out a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the death. "We have approached the CPS for early investigative advice, as required under the guidance. We have received and considered that advice, and, at present - on the evidence available - we will not seek a charging decision. Therefore, no further action will be taken against the man.

Yep, saw the news. Rumpole Pixie has been undone. This is probably what happened... The old boy (78 years old) was threatened inside his own house by two scrotes, one wielding a screw-driver. The old boy, at some point during the threat, probably lifted a carving knife from his kitchen, and stabbed the pikey with the screwdriver, and then threatened his mate. The "mate" dragged the stabbed pikey from the house, before dumping him 200 yards along the road, in order to run and try to save his own cowardly hide. The law, despite what Rumpole Pixie has tried to tell everyone, allows a 78 year old to match a 30 year old aggressor, tool for tool, even if that ends up with the scrote dying. NEWS TO PC BRITAIN: break into a pensioner's house tooled up, and if he stabs you to death, your family is going to have to live with the fact that you lived the life of a scrote.

I think personally you should be allowed murder anyone who breaks into your home armed with a weapon.
