Sept 2003 L2 City 1 -0 Swansea. Stu Elliot Probably the last mid-week game I saw in the flesh. Lee Trundle was playing for the Swans. Lovely player, cocky attitude. He didn't really get a look in. Stu Elliot's wonderful headed winner brought back fond memories of Chris Chilton's "leaping like a salmon" ability to score magical headers Promoted up to L1 that season. That win I reckon deflated Swansea ( if I recall they were one of the favourites to go up that season) and really boosted City's confidence. A turning point for the upward thrust imo. Good crowd too.
