My big concern is he will take us back to the defence dominated bores of several years ago. I read again today he is to sell David Luiz, and reinstate John Terry. If true, and that's no certainty, it would be a huge step backwards. On the other hand, he often surprises everyone . My hope is that he will take the players we have, make two additions, sell 5 or 6 others, bring on some of our youngsters and make the team extremely competitive in the PL and CL. Most of all I would like to see him achieve success year on year, by building on what's there and not by spending the millions as he usually does.
That depends on how he sets us up. Without Drogba to lob high balls to, can't see why he wouldn't play all 3. And that all depends if he actually joins !!!!
Don't listen to the Luiz rumours, he regularly played sergio ramos at centre back and he is as much a maverick as Luiz. However if we can get 40 million as rumoured for him then sell sell sell as no defender/DM is worth that.
I was thinking he would use Lukaku in the Drogba role, he is the same model, already a great player and with the chance to be even better than Drogba. I suppose it all depends on how Jose goes about it, does he try to re-create the Chelsea he had success with or change the style of play to suit the players he has there now.
