Rochester is a fine town, especially during the Dickens Festival. The shopping lanes, cathedral and castle make this place one of England's little gems.
Just over the bridge is Strood. Now that is a ****-pit of epic proportions.
Thetford and Wickford are pretty horrid, too.
ponders -how u been?rochester at night is a cack hole during day fine nice and friendly but at night all the pissed up toms are on the bridge showing their full strood so to speak
Thetford yes a toilet but not as bad as Canvey Island
Nowt wrong with Canvey Island, SN23. I have a soft spot for the Thames Riviera and its myriad delights. You can't beat a pie and a pint at the Monico (sic), followed by a film at the two screen cinema.
And Pitsea has one of the biggest Tesco stores in the United Kingdom.
