    I was 10 at the time. I was in with appendicitis and he had to have his nose re-broken to set it properly. There was also a very good artist in at the same time who used to draw pictures for me but unfortunately he died whilst I was I was still in. How morbid. Do you remember Larry Pritchard and Malcolm Hunt. Larry was either 10 or 8 and Malcolm Hunt was No 9. Can't remember what match it was but Larry scored a brilliant goal at the hospital end, dived very low towards goal and somehow managed to head the ball up over the goalkeeper into the net.

    I remember going to Doncaster to watch Wycombe play Bishop Auckland in the FA Amateur Cup semi final and everyone was banking on him playing. It was a major disappointment to all when the team was announced at the ground and he wasn't on the team sheet (injured). I think we lost 2-1 or 1-0.
