You've missed some real humdingers in here. How could you forget Weird Al Jankowitz? Played a total of one minute for us; got sent off, and we get thrashed 9-0. And that after throwing a strop for not being picked. Total legend.

Thierry Small. Looked completely out of his depth, against Championship opposition. Almost scored a belter of an own goal. Hauled off at half-time, never to play again.

Elyounoussi. Four million appearances, and only one assist.

F*ck, so many from this season's squad, sadly, AMN, Orsic, Onuachu...

You're right. Unfortunately for us it's an almost endless list to choose from. But I tried to pick ones that were familiar names to me and also had a few games under their belt

    Fraser
    Clyne Toby Virgil Bertrand
    Morgan Wanyama
    Mane Lallana Jay
    Ings

Boruc, KWP, Lovren, JWP, Hojberg, Davis, Tadic, Lambert, Pelle

Obviously it's the pre-injury Jay. Two hardest decisions were Clyne v KWP, and Wanyama v JWP. Would happily have gone either way.

Quite good teams when you look at it. I am sure they would be top 4 material. So Saintsy to be what if!

So for me the goalkeeper one is tricky. We never actually had a proper great goalkeeper this time in the prem. Both Forster and Boruc were backed up by fantastic defenders. Forster was never the same after that Vassell goal away to Villa where he came out and got done. Boric had moments of absolute madness. I would slightly edge towards Boruc as he could save in the corners. RB is Clyne. Definitely got the best years out of him. CB pairing of Toby and VVD LB Bertrand. Shout out to Shaw, I think he's a 100% passion player.
I'm going with big Vic and Morgan. Then it's the guy we never replaced, the creator Tadic just in front, Mane left. Lallana right and the unit Pelle up top.

That's the one. After that FF wouldn't leave his goal line.

    Boruc
    Clyne Fonte VVD Bertrand
    Schneiderlin JWP
    Tadic Mane Lallana
    Lambert

Pelle narrowly missed out, as did Steven Davis Cedric and KWP. Wanyama was great for us too.

High-flying XI: Forster, Tino, Alderweireld, VVD, Shaw, Morgan, JWP, Mane, Lallana, JRod, Pelle. - Poch

'If my life depended on a result' XI: Forster, Clyne, Fonte, VVD, Bertrand, Romeu, JWP, Davis, Tadic, Lambert, JRod. - Koeman

Cult favourite XI: Boruc, JWP when we forced him into being a wingback, Maya, Hooiveld, Djenepo when we forced him into being a wingback, Cork, Wanyama, Stu, Tella and his lovely smile, Long, Gabbiadini. - Ralph

    Forster

    KWP
    VVD
    Fonte
    Shaw

    Romeu
    Schneiderlin

    Tadic
    Mane
    Ings

    Lambert

    manager Poch

As others have said, very tough decisions all over the park. I prefer us when we played with a central hold up striker and I gave the nod to Rickie, because I think he was the better overall footballer to Pelle.

it’s hard to ignore Ings individual goal scoring achievements.

how would our teams fair against a 92-05 best of?

Niemi, Le Tiss, and Beattie would all get into my XI, but I'm not sure anyone else from that era would.

Killer, for example, was a top CB. But not in the same league as Virgil or Toby.

Dodd better than any RB we’ve had recently

    Niemi and Le Tissier yes

Beattie might struggle unless you play a front 2
