We matched them in effort, strength and determination.
We were solid at the back....and this seems to be the norm these days which none of us Jacks could have imagined not too long ago!
    We were far more disciplined.
And our game plan was cleverer and executed perfectly which led to us creating several clear cut chances.

With 12 minutes to go we were 2 - nil up, comfortable and looking the more likely to score.

We are in our first ever major cup final and have a very good chance of winning, thus securing European football next year.....and all anyone wants to talk about is Eden Hazard's lack of discipline!
    **** me!

He was in the wrong, he's been punished and we have nothing to be embarrassed about.

Chelsea need to look at themselves and ask why their players, who are paid 10-25 times what ours are paid (across the board), who tried to injure our players and dived for penalties/free kicks...couldn't create even 1 clear cut chance in a game they needed to win.
Their pampered stars have no excuses, all of their big guns were out.

We don't even own a training ground

Terrorwit don't think your right on that training ground bit, we've moved on, and have all the Training ground Development under full swing, the last time I looked, at Landore it was looking good, not sure how the Players Training ground at Fairwood is coming, but perhaps others will throw some light on that, but we don't have that issue here your referring to................<ok>

That article was from July last year!...............<cheers>

The Swans were using RTB Landore a fortnight ago.

I was aware of future plans, wasn't aware Landore has been in use for a fortnight.

    I'll change it to;

We've only owned a training ground for a fortnight!

Yep - the facility is only half built, but there is one large training astroturf pitch in use. I was passing one day on the Plasmarl bypass and I could see Michu, Leon Britton etc all down there training. Good job I wasn't driving or I would have crashed!

I thought they'd be using the one at Landore first, while waiting to have Fairwood sorted, thanks for confirming that PGF!...............<ok>

The pitch looks smart, but the rest of the area is under construction. Should be quite good when its all done.

Ultimately, it all comes down to one thing, the result. Chelsea can whinge all they want but over a two leg game we beat The European Champions 2-0 and are in the final. 10 years ago today of the 92 teams in the English leagues we were 92nd after losing to York. We were the bottom Club. Thanks to amazing fans who supported throughout, amazing managers, players who have stuck with us, like Leon and Tate and all the rest of the players through the years. Huw Jenkins needs to be made Sir Huw Jenkins. What an amazing thing and thanks to all the Swansea players, staff, fans and all involved. even the ball boys who listened to the Martinez thoughts, keep hold of the ball. We are now.in our Centenary. 100 years of Swansea football and a fitting time to make a Wembley final.

Yes I understand the frustration - timewasting is very frustrating for the team chasing the game - but players do it all the time claiming its 'part of the game' - I'm afraid you are just going to have to accept that the actions of ballboys are too. The officials can always add the time on. Are you working or at University in Leeds - I ask because my eldest daughter is there studying English.
