The Liverpool v Man City game on before our semi last season was breathtaking too.

In fact, I probably enjoyed it more than the semi final. The whole pub went ****ing nuts when Liverpool scored the winner.

Italia 1990 World Cup Final semi even though we lost on pens v West Germany, match had everything, Gazzas first melt-down, Linekers equaliser, the tension was unbelievable that game. I wish we had the likes of Lineker, Waddle, Platt playing for us now instead of the likes of Shrek, and Jordan Henderson

Can you remember England 5 Scotland 0? That was very enjoyable. I think before my time England beat Scotland 9 3 which sounds ridiculous.

Started supporting City in 1982 and during the 1982 World Cup we had the France v West Germany semi final which was decided on penalties if memory serves me . Obviously Tony Schumacher was involved in the incident which Patrick Battiston was knocked out cold. Think France was 3-1 up in extra time and pulled it back to 3-3, great game that's remembered for the Schumacher incident.

    Germany 1 England 5
    England 4 Holland 1
    Coventry 3 Spurs 2
    Brazil 1 Germany 7

    In that order I think.

Think it was john Machen who popped up at the end for the 4th. Really was a great second half that.

Definately this game. Watched at RAF Brize Norton whilst waiting for a flight. In a room with a couple of hundred squaddies and the atmosphere was amazing. Great memory.
