Okay so for a bit of fun and a bit of football related chat. Using your own criteria, give me a 5 aside team that you would pick. Just list the criteria you've used, e.g. former Sunderland players, a team made up of keepers only, one player only from a team etc.

I'll start it off in honour of a couple of club legends and create a 5-aside team of Kevin's.

GK: Kevin Pressman
DF: Kevin Muscat
DF/MF: Kevin Ball
MF: Kevin De Bruyne
FW: Kevin Phillips

A solid keeper who can also take a mean penalty, 2 tough nuts at the back not afraid to be physical and an abundance of skill in attack.

1900s footballers.
GK. Leigh Richmond Roose
DF. C. B Fry
FWD. Billy Meredith
FWD. Steve Bloomer
FWD. Vivian Woodward (29 goals in 23 games for England)

Formation is a reference to the forward-heavy line ups of the time.

Another from me. A team of players who have missed penalties in world cup knock out stages against Brazil.

Baresi De Boer
Cocu
Platini Baggio
No need for a keeper because that defence is impenetrable and the attack will never let you have the ball anyway!

To compensate for having no goalkeeper, this is my team only of keepers (excluding premier league):

Gk: Jan Oblak - the actual best keeper in the world

DF: Manuel Neuer - the start of this movement of sweeper keepers

MF: Jose Luis Chilavert - the solid Chilean scored over 50 goals in his career, good enough for me

MF: Rogerio Cena - not only is he the most prolific goalscoring keeper of all time, but he's loyal as well, staying at the same club for over 20 years and playing into his 40's

FW: Jorge Campos - not only was the little Mexican a professional striker early in his career, but he could design the team strip as well and if it's anything like his 1994 effort, he will blind the opposition!
