I agree with BBF Rooney thinks he is too big for United now as shown in them celebrations. In recent years he would have been out of the door but Ferguson knows Rooney is what makes United tick. I don't think this is over though. I still think something will happen, perhaps next summer.

I seriously think people are basing everything they dislike about Nani on the past and not on last season. If they do they are conveniently removing the season up to March from the equation.

Nani who was apparently so bad from March.......still got basically as many assists as Valencia who was amazing....

Nani was also playing from his less favoured position. Wonder how Valencia would of done playing such a role?

Think people. If you want United to become a hyped up Wigan Athletic then continue to favour safer players. If you want us to step it up and knock Barcelona down a peg or 2, players with flair and skill are going to be needed.

Valencia is brilliant. Where have i ever said other wise.

Im just not being a ****tard when talking about United players. I also don't hold grudges against players for silly reasons like some of our fans do.

To be honest its a disgrace.

Noone has grudges, we have opinions, ones that may or may not be correct but it is quite normal and automatic that we form them, I mean FFS mate you share enough of yer own thats fo sho :)
I am sure you have your opinions about Gerrard, shared them too enough I am sure, pot.. kettle.. black..

Nani has talent more than valencia but valencia is just happy to be at United where as Nani has a large ego. I don't think Valencia would have went off after Carra's tackle nor Young, Nani was having a shocker and was fkn delighted to get off that pitch, you could see his frustration from the whole match not just the tackle when he swipped at hte SJs ambulance guy. Valencia and Young won't give you that cr@p, good riddance I'd say.

Players have bad games. He had one that day and most players would of gone off at the managers orders incase of serious injury. He was lucky.

And Gerrard is a top class player, pure twat but a top top class player.

I agree with everything you said up until the rubbish about him swiping to punch an ambulance guy. I also don't want Nani to leave so it wouldn't be good riddance. But the rest is true. It seems Valencia is honoured to play for United. His attitude is brillant every single game. Same can't be said for Nani. By saying United made a mistake in not playing him in the CL Final was so petty in my opinion. That certainly shown his ego. The Liverpool match was embarrassing for him, his poor header back which in my opinion totally killed the game off and then his embarrassing antics after the Carragher tackle. I still think he is a brilliant player and most of the time on the pitch his attitude is better than Ronaldo but I would prefer no attitude at all. Rooney can be the same in a game but the key factor is he never gives up. Even when things don't go his way.

At the end of the day I would prefer a player who wants to play for United 100%, gets on with it and doesn't complain. Given a choice right now between Hernandez and Rooney I would pick Hernandez because of the Rooney debacle in October. Any hint of wanting out and I would happily see them leave United.

This is the reason I would choose Valencia over Nani everyday of the week.

You obviously never watched Arsenal under George Graham then. Or Liverpool back in the day. Passback, Passback, Passback...

    At United.

    Its not our way.

England play the safe way aswell.........think that just about sums it all up.

You need to mix and match safe reliable players who will give a steady performance week in week out with players who are explosive, exciting and unpredictable and the unpredictable-ness of these players also applies to the players they are up against.

Great and I agree with all that. I would just prefer a safe and steady player who wants to play for United and give 100% every game rather than a flair, risk taking player who plays 100% for 90% and has numerous tantrums on the pitch. That's not the United way.

Nani has stated his love for United numerous times. Hes said 1 thing out of line and then was almost gone. He then went on to prove beyond any doubt he wanted to be here and that he was good enough.

Speaks volumes to me. Please dont base him wanting to leave on the goal.com article from a few weeks ago.

BTW, worry now, hes going no where. Skybet have arsenal as favourites to sign him and well.....it aint ever going to happen.

I can see with my eyes his petulant attitude. I don't want him to leave but he could do with erasing that out of his game.

As for Nani and his comments.

I tell my kid you should never challenge the teacher in front of the class, especially if you are right and the teacher is wrong, you are challenging authority, the why or whos right or wrong is lost because you dealt with it in the wrong way. A chat with Fergie and he could have made his point, but to bleat on about it to the team in hte dressing room if he did that, and have your blabbings published. Like Fergie with the ref comments, nani leaves Fergie with fk all choice if he is gonna challenge Fergie publicly like that, if I was Fergie I would think you insubordinate little prick, I take you from portugal make you a recognised player in european terms and this is how you repay me, because you didn't start one fking game, I'd slap his ego into the middle of next year with a bye bye.

Such comments are basically saying, especially when published, I know better than Fergie on this matter, even if he was right it makes no difference, he challenged Fergie by making such statements publicly.

Exactly right. (If he did say what we think he said) And to be honest I wouldn't put it past him. I also noticed he said he would like to play under Mourinho one day. Is that for another club or for United? We don't know but to be honest I would just prefer his head 100% focused on his current club.

He never said it. Goal.com ran the story.

    End of that then.

Authority is not, and should not be immune from challenges.

If that's the case, then you're a bit of a pillock.
