Didn't watch the game but it looks well over. I think they are talking about using Hawk Eye or a similar technology that uses very high speed cameras.

Personally I think it's over the line. But its just that your picture isn't convincing since there's parallax error. If you had one which was above the goal or along the byline it would be better.

I'm not anti-Everton. I'm not anti-anything. In fact I quite like both clubs but lets be honest in light of what has gone on recently no neutral would have wanted Everton to lose that match.

I'm just calling it as I see it. I want Everton to do well this season and get top 4 so your suggestion I am anti-Everton is ridiculously myopic

Parallax doesn't really come into it when the ball is near enough on the ground and you can see it's past the line. If it was in the air, it'd be more difficult to judge.

Not in tbh. Tiny bit of ball is visible in pink area(the line) and over the black thin line. Blame groundsman for making the lines thicker than the posts!

Doesn't matter it is OVER the black line. The pink is the exact white line and the ball is clearly in it.

To be fair after re reading your opening post It wasnt really worth a reply...I mean saying lets forget about the 2 ghost goals look at what toon should have had....well lets forget about yellow or red cards that should have been given then lol ...Its all about Ifs or buts those with white and black stripey glasses on will say It wasnt In If It was 6" over the line and those with blue glasses on will say It was In If It didnt even hit the line but After watching Sky sports and them showing a graphic that clearly shows the ball across the line I will trust that over people on about paralax or whatever or someone with a pink high lighter pen and a dodgy black line <ok>

No It shouldnt have mate I did say that earlier <ok> To be fair the ref had a nuts 5 minutes

And he shouldnt have pulled back play straight after either you guys had some shoite decisions and so did we but like also said earlier the origional post after re reading It wasnt worth a reply It was like never mind the **** decisions against Everton look what went against you you were robbed?? Which Is rediculous BOTH teams had bad decisions so In a way BOTH were robbed if the origional op wanted to be fair..

Take away the free kick and the argument over did it cross the line or not theres still the offside goal that should have stood anyway??

And at the opening comment of the origional post theres no way Newcastle were considered the pantomime villians becouse what had gone on earlier In the week a nice comment on how both teams showed their respect towards those affected at Hillsborough would have been more apt I think...

Fair play then, didn't see that comment.

As far the incident straight after is concerned, I thought watching that Baines had pulled out because he knew the free kick had been given and he would probably have got the ball had he not. Both teams had decisions against them but if they favored anyone it was probably Newcastle.

Got to say as far as the Hillsborough stuff is concerned thought it was a very impressive touch by Everton football club last night.

It was just a huge sequence of terrible decisions.

Never in a million years a foul on Anichebe for the free kick, most probably over the line, then an appalling decision to stop play when Ben Arfa got through.

Because they didn't seem to link up very well at the start of the season. Also suspect he may want to use one in the league and one in Europe, while using the whole squad.

We were awful in the first half.

We were quite good in the second.

Watched it several times in slo-mo,still think it's not in.When a ball is 95% across the line the tendency is to think it's in.It isn't - the law says "all of the ball over all of the line".
