This is clearly a patronising post. There is no way it can be viewed as anything else. If we had beaten Liverpool and I had posted it on their wall there would have been a melt down. Doesn't stop it being genuine though. Yes, a bit insensitive and pat on the headish, but there's truth in that the City players did their level best.
In addition, this skylarker chap is no saint. Sending rep to call someone names privately so as not to look bad in public is a particularly bad trait to have. As is resorting to headslapping gestures,which we all know is for those who cannot explain themselves properly.
Not quite sure why I deserved neg rep for that either! I was agreeing that it was genuine and that this skylark chap was attempting to be nice. It's difficult for fans of "big" clubs not to be patronising and in a way it's a hell of a lot better than the so-called "pundits" who are incapable of any sort of understanding of us...
