On the flipside of the coin, we are an unknown quantity for most of the Championship teams and we are used to winning football matches, which is a nice habit. We played three teams from the Premier league last season and managed to beat Blackpool easily and narrowly and unluckily lose to Man Utd and Bolton, that suggests that our team is well equipped to play at a higher level, although the proof of the pudding will be when the season starts.
Don't tell me the Championship is going to be like League 1, where Bournemouth and Brighton were offended by our love for our own club. I think Brighton will be in for a shock if they think people will grovel to them. I think the better Championship sides will not be scared of us, but will see what we did in League 1 and be wary. I'm expecting us to do well, but not win so many games as we did this season.
every fan at every club is optimistic about the new season. Whether that optimism lasts more than a few games will be down to the manager and players. I am sure NA is planning his assault on the Championship as we speak.
NA must be wonderful to live with! 'Darling, pass me the salt.' 'Can't, that's my left back.' 'Pepper?' 'Right back.' 'Which one's Lallana.' 'Lallana, he's mustard.'
perhaps they could use modern forensic techniques to find some of their previous fit and proper owners and where their cash went
Can we expect brown envelope sales to increase, might be time to invest in Staples. Please remember the value of your investment can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you invested
Don't care about Pompey. There will be proper competition in the Championship to worry about rather than the blue few.
As we look back, I challenge anyone to find a post more wrong than this one. The optimism is to be commended though.
