Any rival fan that moans about the two goals we scored can facking do one. Why? 1. I don't actually give a ****. 2. On the balance of play, anyone who observed that game will know that we were well worth the three points. We were comfortably the better team. For the first time since 2014, Wenger tactically outwitted Pochettino. I have to give the team and manager a lot of credit because I wasn't expecting us to perform like that. Well done Arsenal. We need to keep this up, though. Everyone knows that we're capable of performing to a standard that high; we just rarely see it.
I had a feeling that Arsenal would put in an inspired performance. They came against a strong Spurs team and played better, which was really good to see. Our main issue is consistency, but if we can keep on stringing these types of performances together, i can't see why we can't get near the top.
Tottenham midfielder/defender Eric Dier to BBC Sport: "There is so much on the line, for a goal to be decided in the manner it was is very disappointing. It changed the game. "I don't want to get in trouble but everyone can see it. If that's a foul then soon we won't be able to touch each other. Nobody wants that. "But there can be no excuses." So after practically blaming the referee for the result, he ends it by saying "there can be no excuses"...Good one, Eric. Good one.
Thought we were clearly the better side today. Ozil gave one of his best perfomances in a long time and Mustafi had a blinder. Had feeling we would win today. Ozil, Kolasinac and Mustafi were all saying the right things pre-game.
Didn't get to see the game today as I was working. Looking forward to seeing MOTD later. By all accounts we were all over the ****s Love beating Spurs, whatever else happens this season. We've got one over on those ****ers
Just consider yourselves lucky that it was only 2-0. We could have scored another 3 in the second half. You ****
Stop crying about the ref you fackin' pussy. I'm phoning your neighbours now to tell them to keep their cat in.
It's hard to understand us sometimes. We've looked pretty sh1t in a few games leading to Spurs then out play a team that beat Real Madrid. Sure to say that when we look focussed, we are a dangerous team. Probably one of our best ever NLD wins, against the best Spurs side in a very long time. Their best Spurs team since Wenger took over for us. We shouldn't underestimate this win and hopefully the players don't either.
Some of the Spuds are trying to say that they only lost because they were **** on the day, well we made them look **** due to our superior play. That's one of the best performances I've seen in a long time. The trick now is to build on that, so lets hope we do. At least Wenger knows his best starting XI now. I want to see that team picked every week for the PL (injuries allowing etc)
At home, you are always decent and will get results. Away from home you are easy to turn over for most teams and generally hopeless against the big 6. No one would be surprised if you lose at Burnley next week TBH. Top4 is doable but it's in no way a given and i'd be surprised if your within 20 points of City at the end of the season.
