    Don't be fooled - by the 'distorted' highlights !

    'pool may have had a goal cancelled - but the guy was miles offside - and they may have hit the post - BUT -

    You had to be at the game to understand just how much better Gills were than the monkey murderers !
    Today was a performance that deserved a much greater victory.... Hartlepool defenders actually put in a few brilliant interceptions - to prevent 'certain' goals - (( why were they not in the edit ? )).... Gills were breath-taking,, The trio of new signings were brilliant - especially the 'understanding' between Hawkins and Nichols --- just like watching Bayo and Cody. - but - praise for ALL the others ( including Ehmer ),,,

    ...One game at a time - but - replicate today in the remaining 22 games, and we might sneak top 7 ?

    6,003 paid to watch.... Ground (official ) capacity is 11,582.
    Atmosphere was a hugely happy one - the first time for a few years that I have seen a 'proper' performance with skill --- very pleasing and entertaining...... just need to do it another 22 times this season.

    The Gills are back, two goals and three points, and 22 games to finish higher than 23rd in the table.

    Shows what around 200k and another 100k can do for a league 2 team.
    Didn't think we could spend that much in this transfer window.
    Great team performance all round , even the other 8 players from pre Gallinson
