Ipswich are 66m in debt. It's a cold hard fact. Name a football league club that carries as much debt as that?
So taking 1 point from the last 3 league games and being outclassed at home by the league's bottom team isn't real then...
Can i ask why all you lot are talking like Eric frigging Cantona, Beefy talking about Elephants, Dave talking about bloody balloons. Jesus you've all gone ga ga!
http://www.wsc.co.uk/content/view/4553/29/ taken from your original takeover and concerns of fans that the money is owed to evans and gains interest http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=304&fid=152&act=1&mid=2115926568 some of your fellow fans seem a tad more worried than you do http://www.greenun24.co.uk/ipswich-..._in_january_s_transfer_market_clegg_1_1126373 local newspaper seem to reckon you are £66m in debt just go to google - there are hundreds of articles etc stating you are £66m in debt - its well known.
i thought giving blow jobs in a back alley on Gainsborough was cash in hand work? At least, that's what your sister told me. And your mum agreed.
Of course! Silly Me! Everything you read in the papers and on the internet is true isn't it Supers! A bit like your Twitter!
"However, the deal stipulates that Evans’ group cannot sell the debt and the club separately, which has offered some reassurance, as has the decision to retain plc status." From your own link supers, ME bought the debt, and cannot sell the debt without the club! Which basically means, he will back us all the way! Next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well i'm not unduly concerned. as far as i'm concerned this season has been and still is nothing but a success. you all expected us to go down so you are clearly wound up that we are not, but ooh - a chink of light for you guys - we've failed to beat the team bottom of the league - something which liverpool also failed to do, and chelsea, and everton, and villa, and the mighty swans failed to do at home, and sunderland, and west brom, and others i'm sure. we lost to man utd who could well win the league again, and we lost to stoke in the worst match in living memory. its funny, but before that little hiccup we were second in the form table over the previous ten games only to man city. teams have dips in their form - ours don't last very long
Just a shame they can't spend a couple of seasons in the EPL, a cool £90M would come in handy for them Supers !
listen, your CEO announced that you are £66m in debt before christmas - look it up for yourself! he said he was not unduly concerned by it but he still said you were £66m in debt which is what i said!
i really don't understand what all the hysteria is about us not winning for three games. how does this affect ipswich? shall i point out that ipswich have only won 1 of their last 4 games?
Strange how you missed the line before that, stating that ME had invest over 7million over the year! If you are going to use press reports, please use all the text!
Fcuk me, I believe City are still about £30M in debt, I may be wrong and I'll be worried until we get ourselves clear of that. But £66M and rising due to playing lower league football ? I'd be ****ting myself
Yep, £7M and no doubt even more next season and the season after that etc. etc. I don't care how much money he supposedly has, no-one with half a brain is gonna want to keep doing that Ipswich Town are going to hell in a handcart !!!!
But as stated before, he CANNOT sell the club without the debt, he CANNOT sell the debt without the club. Which is the commitment he gave to the club. So basically, if he wanted to sell the club somebody would have to come in with the whole wedge of cash for club and debt! I would try to dumb it down even further for you, but i don't have the time!
