Ipswich are 66m in debt. It's a cold hard fact.

Name a football league club that carries as much debt as that?

So taking 1 point from the last 3 league games and being outclassed at home by the league's bottom team isn't real then...

"However, the deal stipulates that Evans’ group cannot sell the debt and the club separately, which has offered some reassurance, as has the decision to retain plc status."

From your own link supers, ME bought the debt, and cannot sell the debt without the club!

Which basically means, he will back us all the way!

well i'm not unduly concerned. as far as i'm concerned this season has been and still is nothing but a success. you all expected us to go down so you are clearly wound up that we are not, but ooh - a chink of light for you guys - we've failed to beat the team bottom of the league - something which liverpool also failed to do, and chelsea, and everton, and villa, and the mighty swans failed to do at home, and sunderland, and west brom, and others i'm sure. we lost to man utd who could well win the league again, and we lost to stoke in the worst match in living memory. its funny, but before that little hiccup we were second in the form table over the previous ten games only to man city. teams have dips in their form - ours don't last very long <ok>

i really don't understand what all the hysteria is about us not winning for three games. how does this affect ipswich? shall i point out that ipswich have only won 1 of their last 4 games?

Fcuk me, I believe City are still about £30M in debt, I may be wrong and I'll be worried until we get ourselves clear of that. But £66M and rising due to playing lower league football ? I'd be ****ting myself ;)

But as stated before, he CANNOT sell the club without the debt, he CANNOT sell the debt without the club. Which is the commitment he gave to the club.

So basically, if he wanted to sell the club somebody would have to come in with the whole wedge of cash for club and debt! I would try to dumb it down even further for you, but i don't have the time!
