This is not a made up story and I can't confirm it but it's a comment made by cjs over on the "gashead" forum and that's good enough for me...:grin:

' our OS forum states 3gasheads camped outside the mem sunday night to make sure they got tickets thinking it will be a mad rush. monday morning arrived and no one else turned up anyway plenty of tickets left so 345 would be wrong anyway lol'

So as I understand it these 3 "gasheads" turned up Sunday night to queue up for tickets to play AFC Toton,expecting a rush or heavy demand for the tickets,which were due to go on sale Monday am,they waited all night outside of the minimal,braving the cold,wet and wind,so they would be at the front of the queue.

Next morn come and the 3 brave souls,stepped forward to the starting line with grim determination,only to find out nobody else had bothered to turn up and they felt very neglected but they got their prize tickets for Toton....

You couldn't make it up,good ol' "gasheads",they make our day...<laugh><laugh>
 
Are you sure they didn't do it simply to get tickets and get out of the area quickly before someone spotted them, thus exposing their embarrassing footballing allegences? :)
