    Just so frustrating. With a penalty and a goal we would have jumped over the SMB.

    Who may I add have lost their last 4 games <laugh>

    And what did Bruce call for after our mauling of them? For them to finish above us? Doesn't look likely now does it.

    Hate to disagree but I think Ranger was just offside and it wasn't a penalty on Kuqi. However, we should've had a penalty first half when Best was brought down but it wasn't given because of an apparent offside when the ball was played through. The commentator after watching it three times thought that his left foot might have been just off. How the **** can the linesman give that from the other side of the pitch. If its that close he's onside!

    It really was a penalty mate. Don't know how that can't be seen as a penalty. Watch it again on match of the day.

    You could well be right fella, I'll watch it again and be more than happy to eat my words if it is. My stream was playing up so I only saw it during the live action and it looked six of one to me but I could do with seeing it again in a slo-mo replay.

    In any case though it is purely academic because it wasn't given. But I agree with your overall point that referreing decisions may well have gone against us again today (albeit for different reasons). :)

    Thought it was a pen and thought the ref had an all round stinker. I said at the game I hoped it would be shown on MOTD so that he'd have egg on his face! He was like their 12th man. Some very poor decisions that all favoured Bolton!

    This. But we know MOTD won't. We'll be lucky to get 20 seconds that show the goals.

    Hate all the prem refs we've had this season apart from Dowd. Others have been awful!

    Webb has the odd bad game once in a while, but comes out to admit mistakes, Dowd gets descisions right and wrong but who doesnt, but them 2 are by far the most consitant and fair refs in the league

    Got to say couldn't tell whether Ranger was onside or not, but the reports suggest to me that Ranger was probably onside, as for the incident with Kuqi and Wheater it looked an honest battle with the ball, so I'd say no penalty.
