I blame everybody involved, owners, committee and manager.

The owners have forced the idea of either buying cheap (or free) or young with resale value. Whilst not a bad thing on its own it does look unambitious, hence players like Sterling and Suarez wanting out when they think something better is going to come along. The idea of buying young, again not a bad thing on its own, but it does appear to say we'll train you up and then sell you on as you hit your peak cause thats when you are at your most valuable. Also leaves the team very young and inexperienced, possible reason for this seasons end of year collapse and last years missing out on the title.

The Committee are supposed to find value for money combined with who will fit the team. Christ this is hit and miss, but rather more miss. So there has been Can and Coutinho who fit the team and very value for money. Erm Lallana, paid way over the odds should have walked away same for Lovren (or were they BRs picks?) and who thought Balotelli was a good idea? Clearly these people on the committee, whilst having their hands tied by the owners, aren't the right people for the job.

The manager, he had his chance before the committee, he bought Borini and Allen for a combined total of £26million <yikes> Also rumoured he pushed the committee to follow through on the Lovren and Lallana deals. Nuff said.

The bigger problem is there is no clear idea of who is responsible for buying said payers, we credit the committtee for Couts and blame the manger for Lovren cause we have no idea on who has the final say.

He's at the point now were he's used up the credits that he earned himself last season.

There's already plenty calling for his head, and it'll only take a few poor results at the start of next season to see the pressure on him mount to a level where there's only one outcome.

To me it appears inevitable, so they may as well shoot him now, as he's lost half your fanbase and a section of the dressing room by the looks of Sunday.

If he does stay and manages to turn this round, then even I'll take my hat off to him.

I don't buy the whole buying young policy argument.

We spent £65m on 4 players who were over the age of 24 last summer.

Exactly. We need a fresh start and we need a manager who will work within the desired structure - simply because it will assign accountability i.e. the scouts/committee are responsible for the signings.

At the moment, we're a mash of two models and it simply does not work.

The whole lot need to go and a whole new management structure is required based on just plain old fashioned vision, strategy, structure... just like any organisation.

The problem you're going to have this summer, is just how strongly would you back Rodgers if you were the Yanks now? As they will obviously have doubts about his long term future at this point, it's only natural.

So do they spend big knowing that they could show him the door before Christmas?

The whole situation is likley to breed uncertainty, which is never a good thing.

Without a doubt this is true Emre Can is probably the only person the planet worse than Johnson at right back, the fans know this and have said so, pundits have consistantly said "Can is not a right back", the only person who thinks he can play there is Rodgers.

I thi k a lot of people are annoyed that players like can, Moreno, markovic have been played out of position all season which hasn't helped them.
