I think we would be utterly foolish to sell RVP. There is no way we are going to find someone who can recreate what he did for next season.

 

As I said, we need to keep him to avoid another crisis. I think it would be worse than this years crisis if we lost him - it could really effect the rest of the team.

 

I think it would rip the morale out of the bottom of the team if we sold him. He would be our 4th captain in a row to be sold if we did.

 

Also, I can't see a really big bid coming in for him. Robin is 29 and I do not think that clubs will put in a £40 mil bid for him. The money we got for Nasri was unreal because he was a player that hasd 3 good months and was on his last year with us. For anything under £30 mil, it would be stupid to sell RVP.

 

It does seem like Wenger keeps making bad choices for the captains role... we need a captain that is 100% committed.

 

Just try and draw a line under it, I remember Piskie saying he disagreed with GG about the idea of selling Walcott or something like that. Now, please let's not keep bringing that tedious issue up.
