Ok, one that is not injured half the time!!! I do rate RVP incredibly highly though.

Tevez does bring certain problems BUT I would argue he is worth it. Regardless of how he feels, he always puts 100% in!

It was more of a slap but I agree Barton shouldn't have went down so easily however Gervinho's dive was disgraceful and if you raise your hands you should be off! I'd have sent Barton off aswell like, he shouldn't have pulled Gervinho up. Song deserves a lifetime ban for what he did, it makes me physically sick! BTW what did your keeper do to get a yellow?

    Hi

My name is Joey Barton and for fun I pick people up by the scruff of the neck, put lit cigarettes in peoples eyes and genarelly ruin football by faking 'punches'! <laugh>

I should play for England as I am clearly better than Lampard and Gerrard and I am a well respected person throughout the country <ok>

Beacuase he jogged all the length of the pitch to get involved, like an idiot had no place being there and deserved to get cartd for it, calmer heads would have prevailed here.

The sight of him telling Van Perise that he got punched was just unreal. The fool started the whole problem because he was angry against someone for diving then does the same thing.

All clubs dive and cheat and it's unfortunately been accepted as part of the game, unless it's a Newcastle player of course

Arsenal mod? Doesn't seem to like Arsenal being criticised, deleted my article calling them cheats at half time as well.

You lost any credibility in your opinion when you said "all Barton did was pick up a guy who dived" (paraphrased without the swearing).

Only the worst, most blinkered WUM on earth could view what Barton did as "helping him up".

Exactly. Barton shouldn't have reacted as he did, however these 'tactics' are sadly a part of the modern game. Gaining an advantage over your opposition is key, it is just sad that players have to resort to such measures to do it. However, Gervinho played right into Barton's hands, he got wound up and raised his hands. Letter of the law says red card, simple as that.

Slightly colourfully put Tash but yes, Gervinho is a cheating Bastard. Arsenal do seem to go to pieces when it doesn't go their way mind.
That said, on their day Arsenal are by far the best adverts for the beautiful game the prem has.... As long as they stay on their feet.

Except it wasn't a dive, Mary Poppins said so and showed a reply to back it up so I really don't know what your all moaning about. He went down very easily but its not a dive as there WAS contact.

Taylor giving the elbow sign is much worse blatant cheating, as you would expect from him. I thin you all need to chill out, you did get a point you know.

I can't wait until Walcott takes a dive next weekend, sure Arsenal fans will change their views and not care less.

I'm not gonna start ranting, I thought the result was fair, despite all the drama.

Difference here is that Barton actually had something to claim. Not to mention that him and Jonas in particular got battered around all game. Although I do not agree with any of their actions, I can see why it escalated. Barton was clearly desperate to not concede an unfair pen at the late stages, which would probably have cost us the game. I can understand how he would have been so frustrated by that stage. Worth noting his improvement here, he took a LOT of knocks that game and didn't resort to violence. Not that he should be commended, but it should be noted, i feel. There certainly could have been more reds that game.

Also like to point out RE: RVP comments - He is a very good talent. Shame about the injuries, but certainly not one to be under-estimated.

Either way, good luck for the season, with the exception of our next fixture with you. Hopefully get that RVP/Lovenkrands swap done soon ;) haha
