Its not his record v Fergie that scared him but Fergies record against everyone else. hell even rafa has a decent record v Fergie.
Of course they would but he turned them down and they had to settle for 2nd...oooops, 3rd best although Pulis has achieved more than Below Average Moyes.
i would of loved Mourinho but understand now why Moyes got the job. Still think in 3 or 4 years time depending on how Moyes does this will all be irrelevant anyway.
Whats not to like, gets a club from a town full of mutants playing what can loosely be described as football. Doubt anyone else could make the hills have eyes kick a ball.
Do you think Jose could still go to United. The premiership press and United fans will probably be sick if him again and he will have to move countries again. That's why he moves nations after each job
Think the Jose to United ship has sailed. If it was going to happen now was the perfect time. I see Jose at us, maybe another club (Germany or France) and then Portugal.
Roman wanted Pep, but at that point Jose was at Real and there was no talk of him leaving. As soon as Jose fell out with the Bigwigs at Madrid, and Rafa was confirmed as Interim, there was only ever going to be one outcome. I did have a split second of concern when SAF announced his retirement, some rumours say Utd enquired with Jose and Ancelotti before settling on Moyes but you dont know what to believe. I was a little surprised that they went for Moyes to be honest. I have no idea how good he will be with money and pressure to succeed, maybe he will rise to the challenge. I was surprised he was able to have Everton stay in the PL on what they spent, never mind occassionally challenge for a CL place (and achieving it once too), so he may do okay. Time will tell
We've made the first move. They are all panicking and demanding their clubs go into the transfer market.
When I made this thread it was somewhat tongue in cheek but after a day of UIR, Swarbs and Style it actually is true, they are literally bricking it.
imagine how we would feel if it was the other way around, jose to man u and moyes to chelsea makes it all the sweeter
Swarbs, in particular, rather unusally, has lost his composure. UIR can't let it go and is obviously anxious about JM too
You should see their board. All quivering wrecks holding each others hands and reassuring each other that "everything will be alright" and Jose will fail and that he didn't reject them
I'm very worried lads. Very worried indeed. I imagine under no circumstances will it all go tits up like last time. History simply doesnt repeat itself and the reuniting of parties that have previously split always leads to success. Hell even recent history is on your side. Remember this chap... please log in to view this image proof if ever we needed it that good times are ahead for Chelsea just like they were for Liverpool when the King returned. it's only right I congratulate you on your up coming League cup triumph all things considered.
