I've enjoyed reading this thread. From Swords' initial light-hearted wind up to some taking it in the manner intended to some not to Hammersmith trying the same old tired wum to people being "incensed" they were banned from one section of an internet messageboard it has been a delight.

I expect a home win this weekend, probably as a result of our defenders not knowing each other's names.

Guys, I am gay, and I am not particularly offended by Swords' comments. I think his 'humour' could be rather more original, but that reflects poorly on him rather than gay people. I appreciate the moderator's comments, however, that homophobia will never be tolerated on here, and nor should it be. We should remember Justin Fashanu and what homophobia did to him.

B) the chairman of QPR is tony Fernandes, he happens to be Malaysian. Now, I slag him and his club off, it's transfer policy and the way his club conducts itself but I wouldn't blast on a board and start attacking his Race of heritage, something he has no control over, because I've been brought up right and I'm not a brain dead QPR fan.

Secondly, Dave, I want to make totally clear (and to be fair I did so at the time as well), I have absolutely no problem or indeed any animosity whatsoever towards Beef's and Fry's sexuality. In fact I commend both for being involved in a Sport which is predominately the domain of testosterone-fuelled straight blokes and for having the staying power in what must be a tough environment. As a matter of fact, to be fair to Beefy, I met Craig Doyle once and he's a thoroughly nice guy.


If that's still not clear enough, I will re-iterate one last time:

Whether it be Stephen Fry, Beefforhire, your good self Vietnam or indeed any number of homosexuals connected to Norwich City FC - I salute you my friends and want to apologize if any offence was caused. It was an attempt at humour which went down well with some and not with others.

I would also like to congratulate Norwich City FC too on clearly having an above average number of gay men involved with the Club whether as supporters or actual Board members. This surely must indicate an inclusiveness and sense of togetherness fostered by the Club and I would like to salute its efforts in bringing large numbers of that community on board.
