Hmmm... a thread with a heading insulting all the posters here isn't going to win you many friends Dilli. I'd like to think most of us aren't 'irrelevant' at least. As for 'puppets', I don't think so. Nobody will lose any sleep if the board fails. There are plenty of teams (like Wigan for example) that have virtually no contributors. As others have said it's just a football forum, not life and death.

I'm not happy with the mod situation either and it would have helped if we'd been treated with a modicum of respect and given an explanation. But my experience of dealing with the likes of brb is that they like the power and treat ordinary posters as pond life. That's just the way it is, but thankfully we don't have to bother with them much and this could have been avoided if people ****ing behaved themselves here! In that case we wouldn't have had 2 mods that wanted to leave.

I doubt Valley is happy either but the alternative is to migrate to another platform where the crap will start all over again. I was one of the first to register over there but it's unlikely I'll contribute. For me the problem isn't the latest spat with the supermods (as annoying as that is) it's a failure to deal firmly with the abuse that goes on here. I've looked at the forum rules you've posted over there and frankly they worry me. They mention repeated warnings from mods until you 'step in'. That won't work for me. Posters here have persistently abused others and received warning after warning but continued. They either then laugh it off and make a joke of it or pull back and don't post for a while. Either way the abused person and others have been subjected to page after page of bile. The only way to deal with abusers is an instant 48 hour ban. No ****ing warnings. Repeated abuse means a week ban. If it happens again a life ban. If you don't like it **** off somewhere else. Same applies to wums like Swamp who was allowed to get away with his nonsense far too long imo.

Now if we had that kind of approach people will quickly learn to abide by the rules. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a zero tolerance policy provided everyone knows about it and it's applied fairly.

So the new forum looks too wishy washy for me and I fear it will be even worse when the **** starts to fly - and it will. Now if only musty and dragon follow you. Please take them off our hands.

Dilli and his mini-me (that's you Dreyfus) repeatedly make non-swans poster unwelcome, they spout the rules but flaunt them in equal measure sometimes in the same post! The derail threads on a regular basis. I doubt anyone takes on board their inane drivel but I guess they live in their own little fantasy world.
