Amorim is wobbling on the same rope. Utd have had nearly as many managers as us in the last few years. At least our flops have been cheap or loans. Utds flops have cost them 10s of millions and a couple hundred grand a week.
FYI Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as we have Cardiff City Stadium. Secondly it would be very stupid (but with Levy who knows?) to sack Postecoglou now with the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi final due in 3 weeks and with a tenuous 1.0 lead. They sacked the Special One just before the final of the same cup a few years ago and put Ryan Mason in temporary charge. That didn't go well. Secondly, they had 9 first teamers out injured today, 8 of whom would have been first choices or close to it. The 9th was Werner Their bench was Richarlison who hasn't played a full game for 2 months or so, Reguilon, a keeper who has played for the first team twice and 6 kids with about 3 first team games between them. He also did a Plan B with a back 3 and went 3 down. He reverted to Plan A second half which they won 2.0 My brother in law, Bournemouth fan, has been giving me stick about the Cherries beating Newcastle 4.1 with a bench full of kids. He neglected to mention they started with 9 of their best 11. Spurs have most of the sick notes due back by the end of this month. If results don't pick up then they can wave bye bye to Poch but it would be ridiculous to dump him just now. End of rant. Spurs we're total scrap first half but should have had a nailed on pen when 1 down. And Calvert-Lewin should have seen red, not yellow, for cracking open Dragusin's head with his elbow. Kieffer Moore has been red carded for much less!!!
All I can say is it's further incentive for us to stay up. It'll be lovely stadium for us to visit next season.............
It'll be interesting to see who comes in and if they get a new manager bounce. Something we could do without.
Typical shortsightedness by the Derby board. In my opinion he had them all pulling in the same direction and would have got the club out of the Championship at the first attempt. However, as suggested, Mr Rooney could easily carry on the good work.
Derby primed to poach Eustace from Blackburn by triggering the release clause. Going from a top 6 club to bottom 3 club is puzzling?
Probably keep him while still in Europe unless their Prem results get worse. They still have at least 9 first team players out injured. I don't think any incoming manager would do any better until that group start to return.
