Fulham have a difficult run-in (Udders, Villa, Brentford and then Weds on last day). If they finish in the top 6 they'll go up
as play-off winners IMO - think their attacking style suits the play-offs.

 

Am actually really pleased for Hughton, think he's been treated pretty shabbily in the past but he's clearly very good and comes across as a decent guy.

 

Ourselves, and Middlesbrough were considered Yorkshire by Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Actually I have nothing against Leeds, other than the glory hunters round these parts that took the soft option of jumping on the Leeds bandwagon rather than supporting their local team when we were ****.
Had we done things right under the Allams, and by now become an established PL team, there would be something to be said for wishing Leeds, Hudz, Wednesday, United, all joined us in the PL. That would be something.

I have. I was at a junior football tournament a few years ago. A player from another team called us you Yorkshire lot. A lad replied so are you. An elder brother butted in to say they weren't. Deliciously ironic as the lad was playing for Marton, now a suburb of Middlesbrough but larger than Middlesbrough not that long ago in the scheme of things. The badge on the lad's shirt was a representation of Captain Cook's vessel HMS Endeavour. Cook who is always listed amongst the most famous Yorkshire men was born in Marton.
