Alcohol isn't banned in grounds because people argue on football forums. Or. Because fans of the same team argue in grounds either.
Wilkinson lent Pearson to buy Hull City when no one else, including Allam, were interested. Without that the KC wouldn't have gone ahead without City's involvement. FC would also been in trouble as the Boulevard needed millions, which they didn't have, spending on it. So let's thank Wilkinson for saving our club, Hull FC, and enabling a new 25,000 stadium to be built.
Thats exactly my point. Allam loves being able to show people how rich he is whereas other rich people just manage to go about their business and do whatever good deeds they do quietly. Buying City wasn't a gift, nor was it a money making exercise. Allam just wanted the recognition and celebrity status. He craves it. I was at an event a few months ago where he stood up and started addressing the room on about how he's bought an entire vineyard in France so he's got wine that no one else can have. Such a ****.
http://www.intechnologyplc.com/about-us/corporate-social-responsibility.aspx The above is his company details, he never discusses his personal arrangements(including owning Hull City), he once pulled out of a major deal because the bloke he was dealing with wanted to be in the papers all the time, he said 'I'm not doing business with Billy Big Bollocks'.
There is absolutely NO way you are a fan Happy. If you where you would not condone in any way what the Allams are attempting to do to the club. You are a plastic who will disappear into the blue yonder if we get relegated.
Imagine if the two local lads at number one on this list who made their first million in Hull had of had the balls to take Hull City on when we were looking for a buyer instead of Assem Allam, who did. They could enjoying all this abuse at the moment and of added a bit more loose change to their personal fortunes for taking the risk.
It took balls to buy Hull City. I don't remember a queue of interested buyers trying to outbid each other, just the one who stepped up and signed the cheque, that took balls.
Oooh kinell, that's me told. It's ****s like you with your whiney, needy, self entitled attitudes who are the problem. Plastic? Me? Bitch please
The reason could be that he thought he was buying more than he actually did. Thought he could get the stadium and land cheap, didn't realise the SMC had loans outstanding, didn't realise the SMC could become a money pit ( he could have made that up though ) With due diligence he would have been better informed. He may have balls its just that they may outnumber his brain cells. Anyway i will be over in the North Ferriby thread, seems i have a feeling of day jar view.
From what I heard there were 2 or posibbly 3 parties interested in taking over city but only after it had entered administration as is wasn't feasible business option to do it before but Allam was after more then the club and didn't want anybody else to get their hands on it
