With Buratino withdrawn, my real money interest in the York meeting is now over. So my fantasy £100 double is now:

    2:00 Mondialiste
    4:55 Elhaame

It will still be over by five past two...

My main fancy is Wicklow Brave in the Ebor but as that won't be enough I'll stick it in a £100 double with Top Notch Tonto in the first please Mick. Thanks for running the comp.

So the final day has passed with some very near misses with a couple of doubles and trebles. Luckily Chelsea didn't enter however one individual came with a late surge to land a monster double with MONDIALISTE and ELHAAME. QUARERMOON take a bow. I think overall it has been a tricky couple of days as only a handful of us ended with a profit. Table as follows:

    QUARTERMOON £4250
    KING SHERGAR £850
    REEBS £500
    GRECIAN MICK £432.50
    STEVEO £359
    SAVETHEHUMANS £300

Many thanks to all that took part and until the next comp thanks again.

Well done to the winner, also well done to anyone who ended in profit, was a hard week. I started off well but tailed off towards the end of the week.

Thanks Grecian Mick for running it this week.

Every time I enter these competitions I get mugged by a late monster bet, and have to settle for 2nd. It was Oddy at Cheltenham and now QM Today.

Hats off to QM anyways for landing such a big price double, I hope he had a few quid in real cash on it <applause>

What can I do but apologise for coming up with a last day double that I never had a penny on. I seriously fancied Mondialiste in the opener on form but I had decided that York was to be avoided several days ago. Elmaame still owes me money!!!

Anybody that was a sick as “comme perroquet!” watching the 33/1 shot win that was tipped to win the Ebor has my sympathies.

    Well done to ChelseaCOE2012.
