Defoe wouldn't be the end of the world. Hardly one for the future, but knows where the net is and is well adapted to the EPL. Doesn't entirely fill with me with confidence haha. Pav maybe a good option. Ba also one, possible injury woes though.
Danny Graham... possibly. hardly exciting though ha. not too sure of buying from the lower leagues myself but ya know.

We've given a player a deadline this week, so that'll be interesting. We are pitching for a striker that we bid for - that's been reported.

"We're hopeful on that but we'll have to wait and see. There's no real feedback from the club on that. And we're pitching for another couple of players

 

I reckon it's either Gameiro or Gervinho most likely. I know Gervinho isn't really a striker as such, but he's been talked about as one in all the articles linking us to him. Wouldn't play him as a striker personally, but there you go.

I just want SOME sort of information on either of them, rather than just the " will they won't they " crap we're being subjected to daily at the minute...

 

I'd be very surprised if we get either of the G's...

Gamiero wants a sun tan and i can see Gervinho going to Arsenal or Tottenham.

Would be class if we got one or the other though...
