No. It’s a sly bid too gain overall control by offering the EFL clubs some money at a time of crisis on condition that the EFL clubs (the turkeys) vote for Christmas. It’s a power grab. Plans that have been on the back burner for a while suddenly brought forward when the main clubs (Man Utd and Liverpool) think there may be an opportunity to get the plans through.
