    Will never ever pass.

    But **** those ****s tbh

Its specifically the American owned Man Utd and Liverpool trying to pass this.

Classic kinda American deal, we give you money to survive, you sign over control of football to us.

They obviously pissed themselves when they saw Saudi interest.

It's a cunning plan to scare off PIF... A last desperate effort.

PIf will be able to argue that, if it gets passed the NUFC takeover commenced prior to the new rules so don’t worry about that mate.

No that's not my point... The potential threat of the change is aimed at scaring them off entirely. If it were to come to fruition the entire Buisness plan that PIF have would be compromised, so what I'm saying is that by leaking this it might see PIFs interest simply go away.

No. It’s a sly bid too gain overall control by offering the EFL clubs some money at a time of crisis on condition that the EFL clubs (the turkeys) vote for Christmas.

It’s a power grab. Plans that have been on the back burner for a while suddenly brought forward when the main clubs (Man Utd and Liverpool) think there may be an opportunity to get the plans through.

Erm yeah I know that, but it's absolutely aimed at removing the threat of our takeover and any other takeover that could threaten the elite permanently. They got a fright and it still hasn't gone away.

The point I’m making is that the plan wasn’t devised to scare off PIF which your post suggests as opposed to that simply being a potential side effect of the plan with the main intent being to grab power.

Because football will have died it's death for me.

Just like transformers did when Optimus Prime died in the 1980s

Yes I know, but people would still watch it and the fans will still pay to watch their big 6 in othe countries all over the world. There would be complaints, but once its match day it would just be another match to watch

Don't think that would be the case. Think watching it for one season would end it.
