Mcleish to Barcelona to introduce a new exciting style of play which will sweep away the boring cobwebs of tiki-taka

Guardiola to West Brom to continue Roy's good work

Steve Kean to Liverpool as successor to Dalglish's delusion and get them relegated

Dalglish to Aston Villa, as we all know they love a grumpy Scot.

Oh, and Mourinho to Blackburn.

Is anyone concerned with all these jobs up-for-grabs that our double award winning manager is going to be approached? <yikes>

nope. He's not proven enough (or linguistic enough) for Barcelona.

and all the other jobs would be a step downwards from Newcastle.

(yes, Liverpool are currently a step down from Newcastle. Great history. Worse squad, worse stadium, worse reputation)

Been hearing a lot of Liverpool fans saying pardew would be there number one choice.

It is a concern for me - Liverpool are clearly not scared to pay the big bucks for who they want.

Ashley would jump at the chance to make a few quid from a compensation package.

He got Pardew for nothing as he had been sacked by Southampton - any sort of deal would be a profit for the fat man.

Pardew staying at the club would make him more money than a compensation package would.

McLeish to Liverpool would be the best outcome!!

To be fair I can see Chris Hughton being appointed to one of the premiership managerial vacancies.

shhh ...you heard it here first

I can see Capello unfortunately.

You're right though it is absolute madness with the managerial merry go round. You get one season now, and one season only. They don't care if they've spent 100M believing in your ideas, they'll discard after a year if all is not rosy in the garden. I don't actually think Dalglish was the man, his tactics looked a bit archaic at times. I just find it incredible they spent all that cash based on his thinking which would have been looking over more than one season.

Winning a trophy and getting to another final, can you imagine the uproar if you sacked a manager for that 20 years ago.
