Great track, prefer the original mind. I play bass so Larry Graham is a bit of and idol! Like flea too though, his are the first slap bass lines I learnt!

Flea is an awesome bass player amazing slap bass, you can't beat a good chuncky bass line to a song.
I'm well into the 6 or 7 string bass the bassist from Korn uses give the songs a toatly diffrent edge or the ultimate in bass Les Claypole of Primus. Slap and tap all in one song is awesome.

Fieldy is my favourite bassist ever! His playing style is so unique (not just the way he holds it either!), brilliant bassist.

He's one of my favourite bass players but would have to say Les Claypole is top of my list, just because his sound and style really is unique.

I was looking and maybe buying a 6-7 string bass then saw the price and thought better of it <laugh>

Played guitar but fancied going more into bass now, purely cause I'm into the sound

1. 30seconds to mars - Hurricane
2. My chemical romance - famous last words
3. metalica - the day that never comes
4. Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams
5. Five for fighting -Superman

Ridiculously difficult...

In no order:

SOAD - Toxicity
Skunk Anansie - Weak
Red Carpet - Alright (just reminds me of class messy nights with mates)
Less Than Jake - Gainsville Rock City
Dilated Peoples - Worst Comes To Worst

Special mention:
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Fortunate Son...I've got a classic mini and when I'm back from uni, the first thing I do is take it out for a drive about the country side...There is literally no cooler song to listen to, bombing around twisty roads with the sun shining and windows down...LOVE IT!!!

Stone Roses, Fools Gold - reminds me of summer days throwin a sickie from work and gettin' mashed
The Clash, Rudie can't fail - my fave Clash song changes all the time. This one just makes me happy. end of.
Small Faces, Wham Bam thankyou Ma'am - overlooked gem. For those times when you imagine you're in a band - this is the one you'd want to be playing
Sex Pistols, Anarchy in the UK - 30 years old and still has the power to frighten. Undiluted venom.
Curtis Mayfield, Move on Up - if you listen to this and don't smile and feel better about your life - you're clinically dead. Curtis Mayfield is a god.
