Hmm..... defo saw it. Maybe removed as was false
It was in the BBC gossip section, summarised from an article in the Chronicle. Problem is they misunderstood - the Chronicle article was saying Lacazette had agreed in principle to a 3 year contract extension with Lyon, not that he had agreed terms with Newcastle. The whole vibe of the article was how NUFC would now have to look elsewhere.
Where are we looking for these strikers, the bible?
Also where did this rumour start that once we had these six signings wrapped up the club would be looking into another special/significant signing? I'm expecting another striker and not even sure why.

Don't agree. I reckon he'd give us more than he's ever given West Ham.
Just the injuries though isn't it? Injury free he's a beast. Wouldn't take the chance though even though I'd love to see him back in a toon shirt..man I was gutted when he left
Very expensive risk though. To be honest he has only shown true quality in a 6 month period. At no other times as he shown this - that would be my concern and for £15M+ I would prefer to look elsewhere.
For £15million I'd say no thanks to Carroll. He's been injury prone and failed to perform consistently well for over 3 years. It would be a sizeable gamble.
