Unfortunately couldn't make the game as I was away scouting in Bosnia for a couple of Centre Backs, tres bon eh!!
I saw the game on Serbo Croat TV and cannot see what all the fuss is about. It was a TYPICAL home performance, so nothing new there - niet!!
Moan, moan, moan, it is enough to put a Senor off his Chicken Piri Piri!!
Just look at where we are now, look where we have come from, some of you will not remember us playing Leyton Orient on a January Saturday in 1927 on the Hackney Marshes, no changing rooms, no linesmen, a blizzard AND a hurricane!! Oh and jumpers for goalposts, we lot 37 - 0!!
AND we had to walk there from Stoke, it was Tuesday afternoon when we got back home, having lost our goalie and left half somewhere in Luton.
Did we complain, yes we did and somebody said, look where we are now, look how far we have come, I remember in 1897, playing Accrington Stanley, inside a coal mine, without floodlights....
Enough Amigo's, we will take it on the chin and bounce back - Si?
