Im not sure if it was that or by design. Ive often wondered what would happen if you put 2 wingers on one side to try and overrun the opposition FB. A formation doesnt have to be symmetrical.
We give our team stick for not trying, then you suggest that our wingers spend their time on FaceBook, quite ridiculous...oh, hang on a minute.
I was trying to think of something witty do with shooting/crossing and logging on but nothing came to mind. He's totally ineffective, but Grifter will probably growl 'were you there!' if I dare to criticise him. Apparently it's enough to just run up and down the line all game; forget about crossing or scoring, that would be too much to ask!
He beat someone in the match before the last game and put a cross in. That is literally the 1st time Ive seen him do anything positive, its the 1st time hes ever beaten a man since hes been here and is the worst player ever to play for us considering the wage, fee and expectations. He is a poor pub team player but somehow he gets in the PL because he used to run fast.
To be fair, he supplied the cross for Cisse's goal vs. Wigan. But that's about it. In fact I think his best past was vs. Arsenal away last season, though unfortunately it was to the Gooner's benefit.
Thanks Col. Don't feel I can respond without either getting pi**ed off again or repeating what I have already written. I think my views are clear enough.
England did this in the 1998 WC Finals v Colombia, Glenn Hoddle played both Beckham and Anderton to overload the left back in the first half. Both players scored first half goals to send England through.
After watching your game yesterday, I've come to the conclusion, that Harry is on Mission Impossible!......................
I always told anyone who would listen that I was a tactical genius. Its something we could do with the LW because Onuoha is solid and doesnt get forward on the right so he doesnt need the protection in front of him.
