There's just a couple of examples of attacking someone that has a slightly different take on things. Alls he said was he thinks Bosingwa is a good player! You might disagree with that but why start a thread in the first place if you take disagreement so personally? Like I said, bizarre but entertaining.
Thanks for the report col Also agree with you tarbs was the best player on the pitch yesterday, if he puts in a few more shifts like that we should be fine
I agreed that Bosingwa is a good player, but was really annoyed at the way he snubbed my lad! Inexcusable imo. Dave just wums my posts and I can't resist rising to it. You fail to mention all the occasions on this thread where I agreed with and acknowledged differing points of view. Wonder why that would be? All you do is make personal attacks, instead of giving any constructive input about yesterday's game. If you don't like the reports.....don't read them. Possibly my last one anyway.....maybe you'd like to take over? With your undoubted footballing knowledge you'd be a natural.
FFS!!! Swords, doesn't this run counter to your other thread about Taarabt discussions? You're out for the wind-up, even if it's not malicious. Too many inflated, fragile egos on this board - everyone thinks they're a football expert (including me), so let's just stick to the soccer; or is it football? Bugger! What have I started now?!
That's my point. You take everything personally when others express a difference of opinion. I can't remember a week where it hasn't happened. You need to be more open to criticism is all I'm saying. None of this is personal man. My other thread is pointless if others don't agree to compromise. So far all I've got on that are a couple of stupid comments from cranks like North and Cerny. Nothing constructive at all. I'll leave this thread be.
For what it's worth mate, I really hope you keep on writing these. Like I said, always post of the week, serious.
A punk that's on that kind of money to do that to a young fan. Disgraceful. These kinds of players make me sick.
It's up to him I hope he continues as they are a great snapshot for the record I don't wind anyone up .. Or mean to ... The entire team has been slagged off one way or another that's my beef and I continually say why? What for ? the viewpoint changes with the wind .
Me to. It's nice to read an "inside look" as a international hoop and feel the atmosphere a little bit
good post col. we both agreed earlier this week that T should be played in that position. looks like we called it right. Not gonna give him MOM yet but a great performance from the man himself. slightly fortunate with the first goal, but absolute class fin for the second. Still think his goal against a good WBA side was miles better. Keep the posts coming please.
Col, Please keep the reports coming mate. As Oz says, they're quality and very much one of the high points of the week on here. Lap up the widespread appreciation and ignore the duff comments. If you want to wrap an idol in positive alliterations and **** off a prick who's so far up his own arse that he'd dis a kid in front of his dad, that's the artist's privilege. Indulge all you like. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate. As for your apparent inability to accept points of view other than your own, I don't suppose the times you and I differ in our opinions gets noticed (probably because mutual respect remains constant). Fans' forums are funny fings but for all that goes on, still the same outlooks can be applied as in the 'real' world. Concentrate on the face if you're looking for the beauty of it. The arse end will always be disgusting!
Late but hopefully rational observations: 1. Agree that Hill and Nelson were immense. They deserve 9's as much as AT deserves a 10. 2. Onuoha's worst performance yet IMO. Maybe I manage to switch off every time he does the good things that people says he does. Rating 4. 3. Green's distribution was wasteful and naive. Given the few saves he had to make a rating of 7 is ridiculous. 4. SWP was very influential particularly off the ball. Must at least rate as high as Faurlin who made a ton of mistakes.
Col, I always enjoy your reports. It's interesting to compare your view of games, players etc with how I saw it. Surprise, surprise I don't always agree with you on every single detail but it's a great read and I have been known to modify my own opinions after taking on board your point of view. For the record, your Fulham report was very much how I saw it, although like some others, I'd be a bit more generous in my comments about SWP. DT: the boys done great!
