I used to enjoy your posts DT, they used to be amusing and light hearted. Now you're just irritating, and spend your entire time attacking other posters. Being balanced in your opinions means a decent blend of positives/negatives. An objective assessment of things can't be entirely positive all the time, as that's unrealistic. I've lost respect for your opinions because you're unwilling to criticise anyone whatsoever. Col hasn't said anything controversial, 99% of QPR fans believe Bosingwa hasn't tried hard enough for the side. It's a shame your expectations of the levels of effort required when wearing a hooped shirt are so much lower than the rest of ours.

Great write as always Col - they are always the highpoint of the not606 week, especially this time we have won at long last!. Sorry about the autogragh! Mr Bosingwa - sign your shirt for Col, pack it up real nice, and leave it in the Club Shop for him!

Agree with your comments. I have been impressed with Traore all season, he seems to get better and better to me. As always I find your ratings overall high (except Adel's who was a clear MOM), but on your scale I'd have given SWP an 8, I thought he was tremendous yesterday particularly working back and using his speed to good effect. Not so sure about M'bia's 8 as though he was very good defensively, much of his passing was poor.

One thing I think you loose a lot of on TV is how hard or not individivual players are working. Sometimes I don't rate Mackie's performances as high as you who are there do and appreciate his efforts so much. Yesterday, when Mackie missed a sitter and shot at least twice from hopelessly narrow angled positions, I was hoping Harry would take him off at half time, move SWP to the right and bring on Hoillet on the left. It didn't matter as it turned out but I'd like to see Hoillet have another go too.

No problem Grifter and on this thread
Read again that I was making a comment about a stupid comment by Swords . I stand of the opinion that Bosingwa is a truly cultured footballer and is just not the flavour of the week
If its not him it's other players
And sorry I stand firm on this
I find myself impossible not to comment on people who after our first win of the season still feel it to have a pop . Without my opinion at the moment then this forum turns into a collection of doom and gloom

If people can't stomach it then gang up again and report and ban me
I will remain proud knowing I supported our team in the right way

I sincerely hate what is happening with our fan base I respect this is Cols thread and so I will leave this

SWP seems to be getting lots of favourable reviews from those who were there, and I overall accept that first-hand observation takes precedence. However, for all his chasing back, SWP is an empty shirt in offensive terms - it's not like he's not had the opportunity to shine, yet I can't really recall him dominating an opponent, which we might expect a winger to do on occasion.

There's no doubt that he's 100% committed, but I'd just like to see a bit more end product above and beyond chasing back; which is surely the minimum requirement?

Thanks Col for yet another multi-dimensional report - and, at last, one to celebrate a WIN! Know what you mean about relaxing (on the back of a two goal home lead against non-performing opposition): no rest for the wicked; we Rs should know better indeed!

Only real neg for me was Green's incessant hoofs up field, almost invariably losing possession. What's that all about? Absolutely mindless and totally frustrating imo.

Whilst I don't think you dwelt on it in your report, I know you and a number of others have been calling for Adel to occupy that central AM (CAM?!) role he performed so well yesterday - and rightly so. But I also remember times when both Warnock and Hughes tried to position him there (one in a home game earlier this season) but their efforts effectively neutralised his impact on the games. In other words, he wasn't comfortable there and didn't know how to play it to his (and our) advantage. Next time he was picked, it was back to his default: that unlikely but preferred left-sided midfield slot where he's damned if he does or doesn't track back.

Clearly, not only has someone ('Arry?) had a quiet word - but it seems they've actually got through and released the man that was Trapped. Sky's the limit now for the boy who would be king - if he continues to mature and impress in his 'new' role.

For that and for resurrecting the walking dead, 'Arry's been nothing short of magic to date. Even if we don't fully recover from the pits and end up going down (albeit with a bit of fight about us) England's loss is R gain!

Good comments Brix, I guess we'll only see for certain with Adel when he's performs like he did vs. Fulham against a side who actually make it difficult for him.

I would like to see him persist in that role, but I'm sure other sides will have taken notice of Adel's performance yesterday.

Can't be bothered with you any more. You have become a caricature of yourself and say things simply to shock and get a reaction.

Thing is Husky, his weight, balance and choreography combined make it almost impossible for defenders to stop him. They can foul him of course... But as with yesterday the greater the numbers that come at him, the greater the numbers he'll leave in his wake. That's the danger he poses.

The flip side is he's more likely to beat himself and end up on his arse!

Other than that, the problem with other clubs taking notice of his performances is incoming bids. On this kind of form, if we consider anything less than £35m we'll be fools to ourselves. Mustn't forget Spurs' 40%. Thanks 'Arry... what goes around comes around!!!

    Great report Col.

Can't disagree with any of that.

Just to add the 12th man played his part. We need to keep that up and reinstitute Fortress Loftus Road!! That will be the key to our survival if we do avoid the drop.

Very true, he's quality at drawing the opposition out of position.

I think that teams will wait to the end of the season before bidding. If worst comes to worse, both player and club will probably be more amenable to a transfer. Will have to wait and see with that one, as with most other things.

Yeah....he had a laugh with us all and I asked him if he was going to score, as he'd said on twitter. He just laughed and said "maybe". When I compare the way he was compared to that idiot Bosingwa it makes my blood boil that we are paying Bosingwa to be such a prat. At least Harry dropped him out of the squad....hopefully for good!

Warnock played him in yesterday's position for the entire season when we won the championship. It's where the opposition would least like him to be imo.

But also lost faith in him fairly rapidly - it's a fine line with Adel, though he's definitely improved all round since early last season.

    Evening gents.
Sincerely hope that I was not the only one on here blaming Harry for my unbearable hangover this morning.
Can't explain why but had a real gut feeling about this weekend. I know it sounds primitive but I firmly believe (as Finglas will verify) that hard work, sweat and determination are the bedrock of all good teams. Despite MHs teams having a reputation for these traits, we never showed them....until now. Our work rate in our last four games has been really impressive. My view has always been that any team that works hard for each other, has a chance.
Yesterday, I thought we were very impressive. Harry seems to have removed the shackles and we are playing with great movement and fluidity. I know the more astute will still argue on formations, all I can see is 11 players working for one cause.
Was mightily impressed by our bench yesterday as well. We have options. I expect that Harry is looking for positive reactions in training from the likes of Hoillett and Ferdy. I expect he will get it. Thanks for the write up Col. As usual, read it with envy.

As a quick footnote. I received several congratulatory texts from mates yesterday. The common theme in them was that we will be fine and that we have a manager who almost all other Prem teams would have. Think they are right.

I like COL, a good bloke. But he does make me chuckle. Every week he posts up a report, gives his undiluted opinions on the game and every player, invites comments.................................and then goes mad when someone has even a slightly different viewpoint! <laugh>

It happens every week without fail. Very bizarre yet thoroughly entertaining!

Show me where this has happened on this thread. Where have I "gone mad"?

Col can clearly fight his own battles, but I should point out that your first post on this thread was a constructive "and away we go" whilst DT went straight in with a helpful "stupid post" angle. I don't think Col went mad particularly, but I wouldn't blame him for getting a tad peeved when respondents can't be bothered to argue in a more civilised way (which I know you're both capable of doing).
