Good report Col and agree with your team selections. with Cisse now suspended i think i would play dj up front with zamora as he is more mobile than helguson or bothroyd.

individually Adel Taarabt is the best footballer I have seen in the flesh since Zidane ... He thinks on a different plane.
Great report Col and I am very proud to also be Not one who needs education or a slice of HP.

To think that many claimed he wasn't premiership quality ... We have a £30 million player in our team and what do we do? Yep we rubbish him thank heaven the owners now know that ... Our new manger also knows that and our last one wasn't good enough to manage him

Agree we are lucky to see a player of his ability at QPR and may never see another as good in our lifetime!

Agreed...Zamora and HH are too similar. I'm just so disappointed with DJ though!

Good report. I have to agreed almost everything with you rangercol. Good start ,great goal ,almost total possesion and then one bad tackle which made Cisse lose his temper with fatal consequently. Ref is not to blame this time to opposite of Bartons sent off in Norwich match. I somehow understand Cisse's reaction ,because Johnsons (again same last name as it was in Norwich match!!!!)tackle was bit reckless ,but if you are a professional footballer and you play in a match which importance is very high he was very stupid indeed.

What really worries me is the way how our team went in the state of shock after Wolves equiliser. I have seen many ,many football matches in which some team loses its player through sent off by the ref. But i havent see many of those where after sent off the leading and possible the stronger team loses the possession of the game so dramitically as we did after their first goal. We were very shaky at back and slow at midfield after that and as somebody wrote Wolves looked like Barca for 20 minutes or so. That is not the sign of good solid team. Then Tarabt waked up the team and Wolves looked more of S****horpe than Barca when Adel almost singlehanded take the hold of the match. Unfortunately it was too late and now we have again mountain to climb. Cisse is out for three match (which is ridicolous for that) and as he apologizes so let that be that. I sinceraly hope that he compensate this by scoring many goals and points to us when he will be back.

Thanks Brix. I think Onouha's was a "promising performance"....Zamora's was a "promising" performance...Taarabt's was a stand out man of the match performance...in my humble opinion.

Taarabt needs a goal. After that he really could take the Premier League as his own.

Good post again Col. Really annoyed about yesterday. QPR as a club just can't seem to do the simple things well. We have to have drama. Thought there was only going to be one winner yesterday. They looked utter rubbish in the first half. We looked decent, organised and hard working. Lack of discipline has now cost us 6 pts IMO. This can't continue. We are slowly running out of time.

Still pi$$ed off with yesterdays game - but good account Col. I am as pleased as anyone to see AT put in a roaring 20 at the end (and almost grab us back a point!).
However (and I wouldn't be a Superhoops supporter without a 'however')... AT still has to show consistency in his performance (and attitude) for me to accept your 'told you so'.
Lots of good signs yesterday... but we were overrun in the second half.. and Wolves came out of the traps at the start and caught us, totally, with our pants down.
Liked the look of Traore pushing up when he came on.. just as we all knew he could do - perhaps SWP should sit on the bench and give the lad a start!

If we did things the easy way I'd have to change my name to something like Plain Sailing Ranger. Yuk.

Great post Col! Its amazing how we all see things differently! Like most I believe, I thought Adel was brilliant yesterday, by far the best on the park. Hope he continues this way. We need that bad, very bad!

I thought Barton had a very good game yesterday, he saved us from a heavier defeat by his clearances and cooly tidying up in our own box when everyone else seemed in total panic. He also started many of our attacks rolling, ran and tackled everywhere. some of his passing and control was not great but all in all he got about a 7 or 8 for me.

I was intersted in seeing Traore coming on in CM, but he seemed to loose the ball unecessarily every time he got it, and left us exposed. Unlike Adel he seemed to have returned from Africa not sharp at all.

Agree with you that Young is looking more and more dodgy - I'd like to see Onouha play RB, and let Gabbi play CB if he is fit again, otherwise Hall who has looked solid to me now in a number of games.

Anton still looks off his best as well. Terry case still affecting him maybe.

As some other posts on here I cannot fault Hulse's effort. He's looked good in the air but not much more. But when Zamora had to go out I suppose there was noone else to play that role with HH and Bothroyd injured.

For me there is something badly wrong with us defensively, teams like Villa and Wolves, who are not top half of the table teams, turn it on a bit and we look totally helpless. I don't see that can be explained only by us having 10 men. Don't see either that Barton and Derry were at fault, or the back 4 that bad. I think the rest have to defend better when we loose the ball, stikers as well. I see that the best teams in the PL have all 11 defending, tackling, tracking back when they loose the ball, and suspect it is in this area we need to improve most.

We got to improve quick too, if we keep crumbling like yesterday and against Villa, we will go down.

Good mate report mate and i agree with almost everything you said...

I must say AT was fantastic, but I'm reserving judgement until i see him do it again this season, or even play that well against a top 8 side.

"Told you so" dont really cut it against Wolves....sorry....but he can only beat whats been put in front of him i suppose!

Lets just hope he can repaet his performance as he was electric on Staurday...

    Queenslander and SW......
The "told you so" was more about his attitude than anything. The way he worked back and got back into his left side position when we lost the ball. See my article quoting MH's comments on Adel.

I think you've bought in to the general consensus about Hall and Hulse.

Hulse has actually looked ok in the last few appearances. Sometimes players need a chance, like HH got. I'm not saying Hulse will be our best player all of a sudden but he didn't look bad and I heard everyone groaning every time he didn't win a lost cause ball. People just won't give him a chance, even if his performance was just as good as someone else who's in favour.

And I thought Hall was the best defender for the time he came out until the end! He was really proactive and got stuck in and had a mentality that I respect, including when he tried to help out in the attack.

We all see things differently don't we? What I will say is that I don't just follow the crowd with my opinions on players. I truly think Hulse is a spent force and looks lethargic and uninterested. I'd love him to prove me wrong and put in some good performances but I just can't see it happening. I think some people are judging Hulse on how he used to be rather than believing the evidence of their own eyes.
As for Hall...I don't think he's up to the Premier League, but I can't fault his commitment and attitude and he has played quite well recently, which I'm sure I acknowledged. I thought he looked a bit shaky on Saturday, but as I say, we all see it differently. I thought Barton was ordinary at best, but Oslo thought he ran Adel close for MOTM! Opinions in it!!
