I've said this earlier in the season. Cerny is a diamond geezer. Given that he's spent most of the season on the bench, he's one of the first to his feet, punching the air and cheering when there's an Rs goal. He doesn't seem at all bitter about his stand-in role and is very overt in his support for the lads. Top bloke.

You may be right....using his pace on the break. Thing is, Traore has that pace and would be better defensively imo.

AND Traore invariably ends a move with an effective pass or cross. ARE YOU READING THIS SHAUN WRIGHT-PHILLIPS?? A pass or a cross we say. Not a run into inevitable problems up a blind alley mate! **** me, how long will it take the guy to get the message?!

I would definitely go with Traore over SWP. Then if we're chasing the game bring Cisse on for him.

Quality as always col. Exactly the way i saw it too from my tv. The crowd was really raging after Taarabt's send off and spurs players didn't feel comfortable themselves. We should put Cisse on to Chelsea match .even i didn't except myself to say that after catastroph against Sunderland. He might pay back what he have done...?

Great write up Col! You describe it as I saw it. I had Paddy as clear MOM - thought he was excellent and kept the 3 points for us. I been so lucky that my two home matches this season were Chelsea and Spurs! Saturday evening was magic!!! I was hoping MH would bring on Cisse for BZ as BZ worked hard and held up the ball well, but no more - reckon Cisse's speed would have given Spurs more to worry about 2nd half at least and relieved pressure on our defense. I'd love to see Cisse play against Chelsea, but I think MH is too defensive in his set ups to start him, unfortunately.

He may play Cisse in the 3 behind Zamora with Adel missing!

He may, but I suspect MH doesn't think he can do the defensive work well enough for that, otherwise wouldn't he have played him there against Spurs, not as a replacement for Adel but for Mackie perhaps?

IMO SWP will come good for us ... he is low on confidence ... just one goal and this player becomes hot stuff ... do not write him off imo

Amazingly I agree with you. His confidence is shot and I agree he can be a real handful. Unfortunately he's running out of time this season, plus, MH may not give him many opportunities before the end of the season!

Mackie was superb, so I'm glad that didn't happen!

He was, and he is probably better defensively than Cisse, but I still fancy Cisse to score more than Jamie.

Bit of a conundrum when playing 4-2-3-1 isn't it?

Yes, and MH is very cautious, don't think he will want to change a formation that is working. If we see Cisse, I think it will be up front for BZ, or more likely as a late sub for BZ.

Nah, I was in no doubt QPR would win after seeing Spurs at Wembley.

Once a team's confidence has gone and their trust in the manager has gone too there is no way back for a them. It's like a snake without venom

I never thought for one second Spurs could get a result at LR, Arsenal and Chelsea were on fire when they went their and both lost so don't see why a poor Spurs side devoid of ideas would fair any better.

Great write up, as ever, Col. Personally, I think MH will find a way to play Cisse on Sunday.

Agree with your comments about Buzz. His tackling isn't great for a midfielder. Needs to work on it. Diakate is hugely exciting. MH's signings seem to have worked out to a man which is an encouraging sign for the quality of new players coming in over the summer.

For what it's worth, I don't think Adel snubbed MH. I'm sure he high-fived him. It's just that MH isn't the kind of guy you hug (you'd think he'd have got used to it after all those goals he scored...)
