Well - on the pitch there were 22 players. I think there were 11 on each team - but I'm not sure i I should count at least two of the three officials ( who SOMEHOW couldn't / wouldn't see all the shirt pulling ), in Shrewsbury's team - but I don't want to confuse you.Does anyone know what it was, or is it a secret?
OTiCthanks A/R. Don't remember it ever having been surppressed before. Was it that bad? I was in the 'crowd' for two low league gates (1800 & 2400) during the 'Hapless' Hayward era. I really believed at that time we were heading back to Kent League, but the sunshine after the rain came with the arrival of Andy Nelson.
Scally has not given any free tickets yet this season. lots of previous seasons were inflated attendances.Over 200 of those were Shrewsbury fans. When was the last time we only got about 3,700 fans for a saturday home game? Shows fans are voting with their feet anyway.

Now pegleg, you know maths has never been my greatest subject but...OTiC states 4,080, you state 3,700, now even if I add the 200 Shrewsbury supporters there still seems to be a hole in my bucket, any suggestions please?
Alright 3,800 ish then Mr Pedantic
only joking mate----- but that still leaves room for many 'fans' who have given up. Saturday's attendance v Charlton was pathetic ( in terms of home support ). The approximate number of Gills fans was 4868. That is only 53% of the number of seats available to the Gills fans. Games like these should have been a 'sell out. 'You're still 80 fans shortonly joking mate

.......... brb - you can trust me on the maths - I know it's not your strong point !

You could have just said that all your typos are down to you having 6 thumbs on each hand ................... no offence intended to anyone from NorfolkI always thought in bygone years maths was done at the turnstiles, or more so the chunking clicks it made.
But modern days maths is based on freebies, STH vacant seats, and sadly i fell into the trap of thinking pegleg knew something based on old style school matematics - in case you hadn't notice English was never my forte either![]()
