P12 W1 D2 L9 with probably one of the easiest run ins to the end of the season as well. If that form extends into next season then we are going to end well into the relegation zone circa 20 points. Significant change needed this summer in terms of playing and coaching personnel. Most of those players are an embarrassment to the club, I am indifferent towards Ralph now but feel significant irritation at those wasters on the pitch.
Actually I’ve been sat on the fence for some time and I really like Ralph. I can see the arguments for keeping him but unless we invest very heavily I don’t think he’s the right manager for us. It’s staring us in the face but we’re blindsided by his charm, charisma and potential. I’m really sad about it but we can’t ignore the stats, he’s not one of our better managers. Unfortunately we have a squad where we may need to occasionally play negatively, defensively and frustrate opponents.
Never been happier to see the end of a football season. I actually think we deserve to be relegated more than Burnley (although its a bit of Karma for sacking Dyche). Let's call it a get out of jail free card. But we need to use it wisely over the Sumer!
I actually don’t like his personality and find him cringe and irritating, but I think he should stay for next season
In fairness, it would be nice if he came out and said the truth. We’ve been awful for 3 months, and we need to make big changes in the close season. Call it as it is. No point in avoiding the obvious truths that everyone else can see.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Some big reset needed, and beginning to thing more and more that means moving Ralph on ( much as I have enjoyed his tenure). The form, committment is currently pathetic. Not sure who, but someone who wlll knock a few heads together and will have faith in some of the young lads coming through
It's hard to turn things around when things go rotten, he desperately needs coaching assistance and I hope that he is not proud enough to accept it.
If they do he needs a flying start next season. If this form continues the fans will really turn. I would imagine if they back him it’s last chance saloon.
Has there ever been such a lucky manager to keep his job? Doesn’t know his best line up, doesn’t know his best formation, doesn’t know his best tactics, doesn’t know when and who to substitute………… constantly changing everything shows his ineptitude
You may well be right, but l would be surprised if there was not a Plan B being considered given the last 3 months. If retained, l wonder how long they will give him.
We need a good pre-season getting them all at peak fitness and get back to what we do well, the high press at a high tempo. Get some expert fitness and defensive coaches in and LOTS of shooting practice!.
If he did then fair enough. He’s been avoiding calling out his and our performances and even offended when it was suggested we were on the beach. He is lucky that our board are so level headed compared to most boards tbh.
Tend to agree here. It may be time to change, not because he’s a bad coach, but because it’s just got stale and rotten.
Actually to correct myself, take our points over the last 12 games and stretch them across a season and that is 16 points. We are Derby, Villa and Sunderland bad at the moment. Just to reiterate we had a relatively easy run in as well overall.
Something has to change next season. However, Leicester's first goal was disgraceful refereeing and defending. We then put some good balls in the box and no one was good enough to take one. The only good thing is Moss retiring.
I want him to be honest and say that the squad he is responsible for is not good enough and that he, as the manager is underperforming. Please don't give me all this "he has to work with he has" tripe as in the whole he is the man that overseas it. Ralph is a likeable bloke, I get it. But he is not performing.
