All I seen of him today was him giving the ball away. Inexcusable for a professional footballer in this day and age. Disgraceful actually.
He made a lot of decent 20 meter or so accurate passes straight through, and especially diagonally forward, out to wide players, stretching chelsea's defense.
Well Bournemouth today at Middlesborough managed two penalty goals plus an og from Jonathan Woodgate. Perhaps Charlie Austin will pick up his 1st hat-trick for us next Sat? 3 pts away from home can never be bad?
I want enjoyment from games and anyone who says they enjoyed our games is lying or very, very drunk. We werent even this bad when we got relegated.
What a load of bollocks. This team has heart and spirit that last year's bunch of ****s couldn't dream of. The quality will come but it was paramount to get players in of the right mentality first. Hoilett and Johnson have both shown the attacking flair we lack when they've been fit. Phillips has shown what he can do at this level and Kranjcar could be the best player in the league. How anyone can be negative about this season defies belief.
Perhaps a collective team mentality can creep in after a long run of clean sheets which makes them more determined to keep the run going, and consequently makes the side more defensive-minded and unadventurous? Perhaps that's bollocks, but it could be possible; perhaps more likely given the shortage up front? Perversely, it could be that the clean sheets run needs to come to an end so the team clicks out of that mentality and, by having to chase a game, learns once more how to be more creative and attack-minded. That ****e has made my brain hurt.

Every team has a blip in the season lets hope this is ours! not playing well & picking up wins that will do for me, performances will come i'm sure once we get players match fit.
This is nonsense. I didn't see yesterday's game, but he's been MOM contender in a few others. Constant graft + high work rate, a calming influence. Flyer doesn't think anyone's played well unless they're constantly overtly attacking. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...rk-in-progress-or-just-plain-hard-work-report "Gary O’Neil was perpetual motion, tirelessly running the ball down in tandem with Austin as teams must do when faced with an opponent playing this new-fangled continental style. Brighton, moulded by Gus Poyet in recent years and now under the charge of Barcelona pupil Oscar Garcia, like to build from the back, draw players onto them and strike in the space they vacate but on Wednesday they found O’Neil a pesky menace to their best laid plans. Several times they worked themselves into difficulties that could only be solved by punting the ball into touch or, on one occasion, out for a corner."
So he closed down players, that's not creating anything. I'll admit he's worked hard but we are struggling to create anything and yes not really helping in that regard.
