Sorry guys but I got to laugh at Mcgoo,he says," The performance was a 1000% better than that second half on Saturday, the whole tempo and determination was top class."

....and you still got thumped 3-0,times are desperate....

I was one of the 2,600+ loyal/masochistic/atalooseend bods there last night............
Yes, it was a better performance....but how hard was that?!
Crowd on best behaviour....not our fault we lost 3-0
Bolger MoM...won everything in the air.....fought for the cause. Parkes also sound with touch of class.
Two disallowed goals for us...the second definitely off-side...can't comment on the first, though it came
from a scrappy bit of play in their 6yd box
Two brilliant free kicks, but one should have gone to us rather than them.
WE NEED A STRIKER. Elliot is our main threat but his shooting is normally from a distance.
Clarkson has nice touches but his only goal since joining us is a penalty vWSM!!!
Gill went up a gear from a stroll to a trot! Virgo actually did ok at RB.
On Saturday MM took our best forward, Richards off. Last night he took Smith off
just as he was beginning to trouble them??

Only reason for gong on saturday is to catch up on much needed :emoticon-0113-sleep

As for the midfield and strikeforce <steam> agree with p49 MM keeps taking off Richards and tends to leave Clanger Clarkson on the FOP assume he thinks that more game time and he will get better. As for Gillian and W Brown they have plenty of huff and puff but not the right stuff.

We are woefully short in both these crucial areas and would be lucky to produce a positive result other than a goaless draw which is little consulation for us supporters.

Not convinced with Virgo but perhaps he will play better than Paterson whose legs have gone south for the winter after a good showing last season which won him a contract?

I would not normally be critical this early on but the signs are not good at the mo
